Because Tenaya Lodge is a rural location guests should call the hotel if they need additional directions or information on how to get to the hotel. During winter months, chains may be necessary, even for four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Bears inhabit this area. Do not leave food or beverages (including water) in vehicles and heed all other warnings issued by the lodge.

Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

We had a great stay here. Kim went above and beyond to make our stay even better. If you are coming with family to Yosemite this place is a must!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tenaya! It is a great family resort with many activities. They have a s’mores bar every night and a nice pool area. There are indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. They have archery and a rock climbing wall.

We enjoyed our stay here. I liked the pool, spa, and jackolopes. Everyone was friendly. Grounds were so well maintained. Loved the rubber duck in the bathtub. We didn't do everything the resort has to offer but it was worth every penny.
