"The MTN Cabin was exactly what we expected,nice and quiet.The location was perfect for all of the activities we had planned.We wish the weather would have cooperated with us so we could have enjoyed the pier more.I would definitely rent this cabin again!"

"The house was beautiful and very clean. The only 2 dislikes we had was that there were 1 set of towels and washcloths left for each person and we are everyday shower takers so we had to wash in between. Also be aware the walk to the lake and dock is very step! There are steps most of the way but it is a hike. And make sure you take what you need before you get there because stores are about 20 min away or longer minus the dg but we arrived late and it wasn’t an option. Overall it was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed this home!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. Hostess was very responsive to our inquiry, check in was super easy, and the cabin was perfect for our old senior fur baby (no stairs). The kitchen was very well stocked with any item you could need. The black bear decor was spot-on perfect for the area and all fixtures and lighting added to the ambiance. The view from the deck was beautiful and the fire ring area was a perfect night spot. Showers had fabulous water pressure and the beds probably had the most comfortable mattresses we had ever slept on. (I would love to know what kind of mattresses they are so we could get.them for our home.) The Crabby Cafe is very conviently located nearby, and the food and service was fantastic. In general, this is a perfect spot to stay in the Watauga area."

"Host was wonderful and had great communication!! House was beautiful and pictures do not do it justice! Two families and a total of 8 of us, there was plenty of space and the pool table was a huge hit, and the views from the living room and porch were breathtaking, felt very secluded and private. Saw deer the entire time we were there. Plenty of kitchen utensils to cook meals. We would definitely stay again, none of us wanted to leave! "
