"I’ve stayed here many times before and I always love it but this was especially nice because the first morning that we were there we went out on the deck and watched two very young fonts playing and eating right below the deck for at least a half an hour. What a gorgeous setting!"

"This house is awesome! Full of character…. You could walk into a room 5 times and the 6th time you’ll notice something else as far as decoration and/or construction. We stayed in July of 26 when most area lakes were very low, this one included, so we weren’t able to use the boat slip, however Tom referred us to the neighboring subdivision who not only allowed us to use their boat slip, but they allowed us to store our boat trailer there for a one time fee. The lake is beautiful and we had a blast tubing, swimming and exploring. Our boys LOVED the loft/doghouse room and I loved the waterfalls, both inside and out! The roads are a little steep and narrow, so keep that in mind if you’re towing anything, but then again, it’s the mountains of Tennessee! We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet stay on a beautiful lake! :-)"

"House was perfectly described. We were unable to use washing machine, but host was communicative and apologized. The weather did not cooperate, but that is no one’s fault!! I would like to add disclaimer— though this house has lake access and private dock, reaching it is an undertaking. Dock access is not for the faint and should be taken into real consideration. Over all stay was wonderful for our family. Thank you for hosting us!!"

"We had the best weekend, even though we had rain! House has plenty of games, dining table where everyone had a seat! The porch was great place to watch the rain and enjoy coffee! Kitchen is well stocked with items you may have forgotten. Beds were very comfortable! Enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaks! House is right across from marina, but no heavy water traffic while we were there. Communication with host was superb! Will definitely stay again!"

"This place is perfect for a big family that wants an easy vacation at a beautiful location. We especially appreciate that there are different locations around the property where everyone can have some privacy and have fun. The porch off the kitchen is perfect for relaxing and reading a book. We love spending time on the porch with a hot tub and the big covered porch with the pool table is great for entertaining and just having fun after getting out of the lake. The owner is quick and kind with any feedback or issues we would get this vacation in A Plus."

"Nice quiet location. Small parking lot/driveway but easily held 3 cars & a truck. Easy access to town and nearby, new public boat ramp ( Sink Mountain). House plenty big for 8 people and had everything we needed to cook large meals. Extra refrigerator/freezer on 2nd floor was very helpful. The icemaker upstairs is currently out but the lower level one works well. If you need extra large amts of ice, there is now a 24 hr. dispenser at the store/restaurant in Butler. The dock is uncovered but we knew that ahead of time and brought a 10 x 10' folding, canopy tent which worked great when tied down to the dock cleats. Missed having a Keurig for single cup use but coffee pot was fine. Cellphone reception is typically spotty in the area but WiFi at house worked great and allowed 2 people to work remotely quite well. There was plenty of water in the back end of the cove even with the lake being unusually low for mid-summer time ( 6-8 ft. below normal). Still had 10' at end of dock."
