This review is for Via delle Badesse 5. Be aware that this is an apartment managed by a company managing 150 other apartments. The place was dirty, extremely dirty. I could take pictures of the dust all over the house. The check-in process required: e-mailing them ahead the time of arival (twice); required to call the day of arrival when I gave them the exact time of the train arival and was asked to call from the train station again. When we got there, house was cold and it took 2 days for it to fully warm up so I guess we had decent temperature for our last and 3rd day. Also, be aware that the apartment faces a piazza that has a couple of what must be very popular restaurants/bars either the late night drinking crowd. The noise level is extremely high. Overall it was a pretty awful experience and I have personally traveled around the world and used various modes of accommodation.

Great apartment in fantastic location

Fantastic apartment - We ended up being upgraded to the Ponte Vecchio apartment and it was magnificent. 2 bedrooms, very spacious with great views. Bathroom was well equipped with a tub and shower. The balcony overlooks the Arno River just steps from the Ponte Vecchio. Would recommend. The owners/managers were very helpful and assisted us in a time of need (last minute booking).

Hotel staffs are very kind. We had comfortable stays in this hotel. And hotel is placed near to Duomo, sowe can look around the city comfortable. But there is only one air conditioner(only one room):-( Except this, everything was great!

You get what you pay

The apartment is a two bedroom with 1.5 bath and laundry washer. It has an amazing location so for the price it's very worth it. However, it's an older apartment at Via delle Badesse 5 and is dated. Our biggest problem is the mildew around the bath tub and the moldy shower curtain. The half bath also flooded on first use; the management responded immediate and sent a guy to fix in the next morning. Communication was very easy. We ended up checking in around 10ish pm and got charged for 20euro for late check-in fee. The fee is mentioned in the booking but the amount was not specified. Parking was very convenient 1 min walk but Florence parking is expensive at 30 euro per night; and to get the car, you have to call 1 hr ahead.

Never Book this hotel !!!

We informed the hotel (apartment) that we would arrived late and they said that was totally OK. But when we arrived, there was no reception desk at all and the door of apartment was closed. We tried to call the number of the apartment given in the email, and found the phone number was ineffective! We stayed outside for more than 2 hours and even tried to contact other residents living in that building. Still we could not reach the hotel. We had to find other hotels to accommodate since it was already 10 pm. Apparently the hotel staff are not doing their job at all. Never book this one ever! Terrible experience. I feel I cannot trust Expedia any longer since they would allow a hotel listing invalid phone number. Applying for refund right now.

Italian Apt

This was an apartment I rented in an area 7 mins from Duomo. Some positives and some negatives. Unfortunately there was construction going on next door. All week the workers started at 08:30. No sleeping in!! There were no instructions on where to place rubbish. The internet failed to stay connected the first 3 days. Had to call the leasing agent several times. No answer on some calls. Waited 30 mins after arriving for someone to let me into apt. The positive is good location to many sites. I will go back but to hotel in the area next time.
