"Good value stay. Had dinner and girls serving were kind and efficient. Super good fish and chips. Great shower and njce room (number 1) wirh aircon ! Only very marginal improvements advised: use a scented cleaner so that when there is no bleach smell in the air at breakfast, try to find some fly repellant (I know that innthr countryside is not easy...) and pass a clean damp cloth after spraying cleaners on tables or they remain sticky. As I said, minor improvements to get 5 stars but highly commended"

"Just returned from two nights in the Pen Mill with two other couples. We had a really lovely time, the staff were outstanding we cannot fault them. All young people and so friendly, polite, attentive and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent all freshly cooked, we had two evening meals here including the carvery on Sunday which was excellent too. The road outside is quite busy and noisy at night with the boy racers!! Only because we had the windows wide open due to the hot weather. The hotel provided fans for the room which was helpful."

"The hotel and staff were fantastic but the noise from drunk people using the drinking area on top of the room and opposite was not nice as woken with shouting/swearing late at night driving off in there loud exhaust car parked under our room window (not an official space either).
