Shannon’s home was a dream! It was spotlessly clean, spacious, in close proximity to the beach and restaurants, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Shannon is a phenomenal host. We extended our stay twice, and she was quick to respond and easy to work with. The view from the balconies is breathtaking. We spent hours watching the egrets roam the marsh. We visit Folly often, and this is the nicest home in the best location for an extremely reasonable price. I cannot recommend this home enough! We will be back.

Love Folly and loved the location of the property Could have had nicer amenities(towels old and tiny). The owners were FABULOUS on their communication and allowing us to check in early after a long drive from Ohio. Would definitely stay again, could just use a refresh.

Wonderful Staycation

My family came into town for a wedding and we decided to get this rental for four nights. Wonderful location with a five minute walk to the downtown Folly stretch of restaurants and less than ten minute walk to the beach. Spacious layout, clean, and great communication with the hosts. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and relaxing stay, gorgeous property, excellent location

We loved everything! The property is even better than the pictures. Well appointed, furnished and with awesome marsh views. You are minutes from downtown and the beach. There's plenty of restaurants nearby or you can cook in the house.We lived in SC for the last 30 years yet we never stayed at Folly...what a gem! Loved the easy going small town vibes and the family friendly, squeaky clean beach. Once you get over the Charleston traffic you're literally on a little paradise island :-)Parking is at a premium however we only had 2 cars so no issues for us.Really enjoyed biking on the beach and through town.We'll definitely stay again!

Everything was great. The condo was very clean, beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. This is our third trip to Folly Beach but first time we have stayed here and I would definitely stay here again.

Great Property with Awesome Location!

We rented for a girl’s weekend where we wanted to be by the water and still explore Charleston and it was perfect! The house was great, clean and beautiful. The layout was perfect so we each had our own rooms and the porches were great to enjoy the view! It was located about 25 min from the tourist areas of Charleston which was perfect. It was also so close to Folly Beach and all the shops and restaurants in town we couldn’t have asked for a better spot! We walked the beach each morning and grabbed coffee and walked back into town every night for dinner. Would definitely come back!

Home Away From Home

This was the perfect vacation! The property is spotlessly clean and set up to provide everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked for easy meal prep for the family. Everything in the condo is up to date. Our grandson enjoyed the pool and the dock is the perfect place to watch the evening sunset. We will be staying again next year.

Just like Home

My family of 5 stayed for the week. I have local family that was able to visit each day which was a bonus. Bikes were perfect and fit all of us, even my 8 year old daughter, comfortably. Beds were more comfortable than our own at home and our kids insisted we get the same toppers that were on the beds they slept on! Very clean and so comfortable, just like home. Will hopefully visit in the future!

Folly Phenomenal!!

We had an AMAZING week at Follitude! This property was beautiful and a perfect fit for our family of six! The location of the house is great because it's walking/biking distance to all the attractions (beach, pier, restaurants, and shops). We loved the pool and ended our beach days there for a nice soak in the shade before getting ready for dinner. We also loved that the house had EVERYTHING we needed for the week including beach chairs and bikes for everyone! We made some wonderful memories at Folly Beach and will definitely return again. Everything was beyond perfect!

We were thrilled with everything about this property! We stayed here with another couple and there is definitely room for more. The home is well set up with everything you might need. It is only 5-10 min from a Harris Teeter grocery store so it was easy to pick up food supplies and everything was in the kitchen if you want to cook there. There are lots of restaurants in the area so we were able to walk to breakfast daily (we loved Lost Dog), if we were around then we walked to supper ( they were all excellent but Ritas was our favorite), or we ate in the city and then walked around for cocktails on Folly. There were bicycles available but we didn't use them. The complex has a pool which we used a couple of times and also a private pier that was just amazing to watch the sunsets. The beds were super comfortable in the 2 bedrooms we used. Be aware that almost every place in Folly Beach is raised so there are lots of stairs. You need to walk up a flight from the garage to get to the main floor and 2 of the bedrooms are up another flight. There were plenty of towels available for daily use but would recommend bringing an extra towel if you plan to go to the beach. We loved that it was only about 45 min from the airport and only 20-25 min to get into the city of Charleston. This was probably the favorite of any VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The home was just so nice and the island itself was just amazing. We will definitely come back again.

Great for a weekend in Folly!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this clean and conveniently located condo! It was within walking distance to the beach, the park, and restaurants. Bicycles were available, but we didn't use them. It was nice having the beach chairs, games, and the outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. There are quite a few stairs! It didn't stop us, but just be aware that there is a flight from the garage into the condo, from outside up to the front door, then if you have a bedroom upstairs, there is another flight. The kitchen was well-stocked, but pack some trash bags. We left a box there for the next guest, but we went through the couple of bags that were there pretty quickly. The master bath was nicely renovated and the screened-in porch was my favorite, especially for watching the sunrise over the river with morning coffee. There is no parking on the street, but two cars fit well in the garage. There was a golf cart, but not for guests to use. This could have been added to the listing to minimize any confusion as golf cart use/rules were in the welcome papers, and we would have rented one early during our stay. That won't stop us from staying again, but keep in mind if you want a golf cart, you need to rent one and keep it in the garage. We used the pool and pier once and it was a great afternoon event! Everyone enjoyed their stay and it was kid-friendly too! Thank you Sean and Shannon for such a wonderful place to call home away from home!

Perfect for our long weekend family get away!! We loved it. We walked to restaurants, shops and to the beach!! Beautiful sunset from the dock with Pelicans keeping an eye on us.The townhouse has plenty of room on each level. Well equipped kitchen with top end appliances and everything needed if you wanted to cook. Looking forward to come back next year.

We are a family of four grownups visiting our son who lives on Peninsula and attends at the College of Charleston. We’ve been to Charleston many times but never stayed on Folly. The condo was as described. Communication with the owner Shannon was excellent. The location is lovely looking over the marshes very close to the downtown busyness of Folly but barely 10 minutes away and very quiet and serene. We loved kayaking around, rentals right nearby, bicycling, they are in the garage and sunset drinks on the pier. I would highly recommend it.

Easily a 10 out of 10! Shannon is an excellent host, who answered my million and one questions promptly and in detail. The property met and exceeded expectations. The location was perfect for our family with a community dock, pool, walking distance to the beach, easy access on and off the island, etc...The only thing to note, it is not a negative, but the two car garage is narrow, really narrow. However, there is a parking pass for the outdoor parking spaces in the community which are only a 1 minute walk from condo. Having one son just completed The Citadel and another in his Sophomore year at The Citadel we come down each fall for Parents Weekend. This condo is one we will definitely try to return to.
