    This condo in Pier Pointe Villas is steps from the beach (around 100 yards) and pier, making it the perfect retreat for a beach getaway! It has two separate covered decks; one off the living room and one off of the master bedroom on the second floor, both offering marvelous partial ocean and beach views. This is the only two-story condo in Pier Pointe Villas that gives you added privacy and separation from the living area and bedrooms. It also offers guests convenient access to the beach and even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after spending the day at the beach.

    This condo is located less than a block from Center Street and an easy walk to the shops, restaurants, and bars. Sign up for surfing or paddleboard lessons at one of the various rental companies on the island. You'll be half a mile from downtown Folly Beach, a city known of its many beach activities such as swimming, surfing, fishing, beachcombing, and boating. A short 11.5-mile drive will take you to historic downtown Charleston where you can enjoy shopping and fine dining. If you decide to visit Charleston, you must visit The Battery, a stretch along the city’s southern tip, which features a row of Southern-style mansions.

We chose this property for a mother/daughter weekend getaway. The pictures matched it exactly; welcoming, colorful, clean and bright and easily accessible per steps or elevator. The BEST location in relation to onsite parking, access to beach and walkable to several restaurants/bars. The back master bed is high to get into, but front room bed is normal height. Nice views of beach from first and second floor balconies. Everything we needed was there. Aside from previous guests leaving sand on toys in closet, this place was perfect! We recommend this lovely condo highly and plan to bring the boys next time!

Nice Location and Condo

The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Both of the balconies were nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The upstairs balcony had a better view of the ocean. The location was perfect for walking downtown or to the beach and pier.

The condo location and size were wonderful. Perfect for a larger family. Had everything stocked nicely. We did have issues when we checked in with WiFi, the TVs not working, the fridge not being cold and the A/C upstairs where the bedrooms were was not working properly. We sent a message. The team brought over a WiFi hot spot that worked fine. We could never get any of the TVs working but we told the team not to worry about it as we were not going to watch. The fridge finally got cold but don’t expect to put groceries in right away if it gets turned off between guests. Not sure why you would do that anyway. The A/C however never worked upstairs. The only time it got cool was overnight at some point. During the day it remained 80 Yes we were gone during the day but it was very hot trying to get ready to go to dinner and trying to fall asleep. A/C technician came out but no change. That was really disappointing and uncomfortable for everyone. That took away from how great the location and condo size was for a family.

Great unit and perfect location

We spent 2 weeks at the condo with our college age children and had a great time. The location was perfect - across the street from the beach and close enough to Center Street to walk to the restaurants and shops yet far enough not to hear any noise. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this condo!

Love the location of the condo. It’s across from the beach and pier. We walked to shopping and Resturants. The condo was spacious for 6 people. We will be back!

The property was very nice. Location was amazing. All of the shops and restaurants were amazingly close. Very walkable and safe. The inside of the unit was clean and had plenty of space. The interior was a bit dated but clean. The unit gets a little hot at night and they have a rule not to set the thermostat below 72. That was probably the only negative. The rental company was very easy to work with. Overall a very good experience. I would stay there again.

Condo is “worn” and would benefit with a fresh coat of paint to make it appear less tired. Living room furniture is older, and not comfortable. Beds could also use new pillows and mattresses. Even though it needs some TLC, spruce up, I would stay here again. Condo has a great layout. Perfect location to beach and Center street shops and Restaurants. Charleston is a easy 20 minute drive The Rental company was really nice to work with

Overall great location to the beach, pier, and downtown Folly. The place was clean and easy to hang out in. Better views of the beach from the top deck. I recommend heading to Bert’s for breakfast burritos, basic supplies, and great surfer vibe, Dead Low for coffee, and Revelry Brewing for afternoon beers, all within easy walking distance of this place.

This was an amazing space for gamily of four with two little kids. The location to the beach, shopping and restaurants was perfect. A lot of space inside and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive with questions ahead of time and during our stay. I would suggest bringing plastic cups/plates if you have little kids. I would come rent this place again!

Everything was clean!!! The location was right by the beach. Restaurants and the Folly Beach Fishing Pier were a block or 2 away. The other places we planned to visit were within 10-15 miles. We will definitely stay here again.
