A *PET FRIENDLY* fully furnished, Folly Beach vacation home that's close to everything on the beach! Ocean is directly across the street - convenient access. Only 2 blocks to Folly Beach's shops, restaurants and pier. The home was specifically designed for your vacation with a vaulted great room, elevator, friendly kitchen and 4 sets of French doors spanning the front of home to maximize the view. Large front covered porch with hammock, BBQ & patio furniture. Sundeck for private sunbathing.

This elevated home has a large fenced back yard that is perfect for pets. (Our Great Dane and his playmate visit in the off season and they love it!).


Why this home over others at Folly Beach?: This home was specifically designed for your vacation! The owner chose the lot and house plan with your family in mind. It's on the West side of Folly Beach where there's less traffic and noise, but only 2 1/2 blocks - easy walking distance - to the restaurants, shops, pier, etc., on Center Street. The home is 2nd row with direct access to the beach. We are PET FRIENDLY and have an ELEVATOR (great for easy unpacking and settling in after a long trip - or for any guest not able to climb stairs) and a fenced in back yard. The home is also great for anyone using a wheel chair, with extra wide doors to one master bedroom, bathroom and shower. And , unlike front beach and most 2nd row homes on Folly, this home has wonderful parking. There is room for 3 cars under the home and room for 5 more cars on the driveways. Also unusual for a Folly vacation rental is the fenced in back yard. It's shaded by the house - a great place for everyone to relax out of direct sunlight.

Sunbathing with sun burnt friends? You'll love our combination sun deck and covered porch. It's large enough to spread out and get just the right tan. And the trees surrounding it add some nice privacy from nearby homes. For guests who had a little too much sun, the covered part of the deck provides welcome relief. Hang out on the patio furniture or in the hammock and recuperate without missing any of the conversation!

Fabulous House

This was our second time staying at the property and I know we'll be back. The elevator is invaluable for our older family members who have issues with stairs, the fact that the property allows for dogs is amazing, and the location is great. Thank you for another great trip to Folly!

Great stay!

This is a great house for a stay with family from multiple generations. We had two who have difficulty with stairs, and the elevator was just fabulous. For the able-bodied, it’s a pleasant walk to the Lost Dog Cafe and Center The house was clean, well-equipped and cheery. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend get away

Absolutely loved this house! It’s big enough for a large group, easily, but it was just the two of us. They weather was horrid all weekend, but the house made the stay wonderful! I will definitely rent it again!

308 West Ashley Folly Beach

Loved this property! The location was fantastic with the pier, restaurants and beach within easy walking distance. The deck on the front was spacious yet offered a lot of privacy. The layout of the house made it easy to accommodate 4 couples and worked well for our friend in a motorized wheelchair with the elevator, accessibility to the outside deck, doorways and wheel-in shower. Everything was in order and a well-equipped kitchen. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Will stay here again!

awesome home

perfect location, very easy walking to beach, elevator was a great asset!!! We were very pleased with the large deck and the location to the little Folly town. My only regret is the ocean view and the low hanging trees that blocked the views of the ocean for my parents. Kitchen was fully stocked, back yard a must for the pets. The 4 toilets and 2 showers were a great set up for 12 people. We loved our stay and hope to stay again some day.

Great House and Location!

This house had everything we needed; plenty of beds and bathrooms, lots of parking, a very well stocked kitchen, and a lovely porch with lots of seating. It was within easy walking distance of Center Street. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or spread out. The elevator was super handy for luggage and groceries. The shaded front yard was beautiful; but some of the lower tree limbs did obscure what would be a really nice ocean view from across the street. I wish there would have been at least one king bed, but not sure any of the bedrooms would accommodate one. These were very minor inconveniences though; this house was overall fantastic!

Beach house with plenty of room

The house was well stocked with all you need to spend a week at the beach..even found sand toys and toys in the house for the grandsons. The front deck was roomy and we had plenty of chairs for everyone. And a variety of dishes and utensils along with pots and pans…even some small appliances. Washer and dryer came in handy. The trash was a bit of a hassle, thought the property manager should have handled that but couldn’t even get a hold of them…they never returned our call. We would go back again especially because the elevator was great for those who couldn’t take the stairs. Our grandson who is in a wheelchair got sick just before we came, so he and Dad stayed home, actually in the hospital…but we hope to bring them next time. Love Folly Beach.

Folly fun time

We had a wonderful trip. Just a few things I wanted to mention were there was not cleaning supplies for toilets and sinks to use. I wish I would have had some things to clean with during the week also limited amount of toilet paper and paper towels. The house was wonderful but the furniture was outdated with chipping/ excessive wear and tear and the drawer in the back guest dresser was broken. Most of my family complained that the beds were hard but the front master was comfortable. There was limited towels for the listed amount of occupants. These are just A few little things that I thought I would mention. Overall we had a great week in your home!

The house and location were great! The response from the owner was very good. Our problem was that the internet service was totally unreliable. We had three people that needed it for work so that was a big issue. Those three were able to join the family vacation based on internet access for work. Seems like Comcast doesn’t serve the area very well. Lesson learned! Otherwise, the vacation spot was wonderful!

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay in this home on Folly Beach. Even though it was not on front beach, it was a very short walk. The pictures in the add, though, are outdated as it shows a view of the ocean. The beautiful oak tree out front totally blocks that view. (It really needs to be pruned.). The elevator was a huge help as we carried heavy items upstairs. We were able to sleep 11 comfortably. The fenced backyard was awesome since we brought our furry child with us. She loved it and we loved not having to leash her to take her outside. The two driveways made movement easy since everyone went different directions at various times. Being able to pull out in the road behind the house as well as the front was helpful as well. I did reach out to the property manager about the significant leak coming from one of the showers but did not hear back. Hope they are able to get that fixed soon. The only other concern was the internet. Seems like the router needs to be updated as we had very spotty service. Again, despite these few things, we really enjoyed our stay in this home. We would highly recommend.

Great rental property

We enjoyed our stay, it was a 60th birthday celebration with family. Great having a working elevator to get wheelchair and mother-in-law around safely. Would have preferred the beds to be a little lower for her, but it worked out fine. The space was definitely great for our needs and a fenced yard was an added pleasure for the children.

Great location and space

My family and I appreciated that the house was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved being so close to the beach and a short walk to the restaurants and stores on Center Street. My sons and daughter-in-law worked remotely during the week and enjoyed taking calls out on the spacious, shady deck. We've stayed in several great places in Folly Beach, and this was our favorite!

Another wonderful stay!

This was my family’s second time booking this house. It works perfect for our group of six - everyone gets their own corner of the house with a great common area. And the porch can not be beat! You’re just across the street from the beach and a short walk to Center. Can’t wait to come back!

Great house in Folly Beach. Location was fantastic. Can walk to all the restaurants/shops and beach is just across the street. Our dogs loved beach walks.

Best beach vacation house ever

I had an amazing stay at the beach house. Everything was so close, and the beach was right across the street! My kids had so much fun playing games and reading. They did not want to leave. We will need to come back again, for sure. A bonus is that we got to stay over Super Bowl weekend and watch our team win. The water was always warm, and there was a cute little backyard. The elevator was really convenient, too. It was a great place for a family reunion. Thanks so much for everything!

Great location to enjoy Folly Beach

The house is conveniently located near the beach (right across the street) and to downtown (an easy 3 block walk). Its bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen had ample cookware and space. Our family of 6 had plenty of room though if you need the bunk beds in the loft, there’s no way to restrict light or sound for that area.
