We were delighted with the property! Three blocks from the beach and a short 10-15 minute walk to restaurants for dinner! Quiet neighborhood and all the amenities promised. Would definitely recommend the property to others. Thank you Teresa.

Perfect size

Terrific little house thats close to everything you need, but also far back enough from the main drag so its not too busy. Our host did an amazing job of making sure we had everything we needed.

Best Weekend Getaway

Lil Pearl was the perfect cottage for our weekend away. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed the island for two whole days. It was perfectly located and so close to the beach!! If you want a quintessential beach weekend, This place is it!

Fine Time at Folly Beach

Lil Pearl is cozy, beachy, short walk to Folly Beach and the legendary Bert’s Market. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, parking for 2 vehicles..outdoor shower, beach chairs, beach wagon & covered porch were nice amenities.

Girls escape

A weekend away to worry about no one but ourselves. Little Pearl was the perfect spot and Theresa was a perfect host. When we arrived the toilet want working and we had a plumber on site within minutes. The place was cozy, convenient and well equipped. Check out Bert’s and make sure you trek to the end of the island to see Morris Lighthouse.

It was Ok

The location was good. The house seemed like it was in disrepair in some places, including the deck leading up to the entry door. The A/C was subpar; seemed to take long to cool house. Bought a box fan to remedy the issue. Note: there's no dishwasher. Overall, we had a good time.

Cottage is great - but service is amazing!

We loved Lil Pearl, it is a darling little cottage in a really great location in Folly. All the reviews are spot on - photos are accurate and capture it very well. From the moment of the first inquiry, Teresa was so gracious and kind and welcoming. We arrived the day that the storm in Charleston was approaching, but we had no idea that Charleston and Folly would be hit so hard. We remained safe over the next several days with power and cable; Teresa stayed in constant contact with us to make sure we were all safe and OK. She allowed us to extend our stay by a day because of the weather conditions. Teresa, we are so thankful for your gracious hospitality and kindness. We loved your home and look forward to staying there again.

Great stay at Lil Pearl

Our recent stay at Lil Pearl was our first visit to Folly Beach on the recommendation of friends. What a wonderful beach, town, and cottage! Teresa is exactly the kind of home owner you want to rent from. Our trip to the beach was longer than expected -- 13 hours. Teresa was at the house to meet us. Lights and heat were on, and we recieved a friendly welcome and guidance on the house and neighborhood. The next morning we were unexpectedly awakened early by a construction crew next door. I texted Teresa who immediately recognized that they had violated the city noise ordinance. She contacted the contractor and police, and even came over to talk to the workers and put up a sign to be sure it wouldn't happen again. It didn't, and we had a wonderful stay. Lil Pearl is small, but clean, cozy, and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 Labrador retrievers. Two friends visited for one overnight, and it was fine for the 6 of us. The kitchen is well-equipped and the beds comfortable. The tv is high quality - great for watching New Year's college football. The house is 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and about the same to restaurants and bars- really a perfect location. We hope to be back soon, and are thankful for home owners like Teresa who are willing to open their property to pet owners and really take care of their renters!

The location of the Lil Pearl is excellent. It's an easy walk to Center Street and the beach. But the immediate area is quiet. The house is very cozy and cute and most importantly, clean. The little extras such as snacks and toiletries as well as plenty of towels were an added bonus. We had a great time and a relaxing vacation!

I booked the Lil Pearl with my sister & Mother for a girl's only weekend to celebrate my Mother's 85th birthday. The home is located in a perfect, quiet neighborhood with only a short walk to the beach or downtown. The home was very clean & exactly as pictured. We all enjoyed the comfortable, welcoming charm of the house & were very impressed with all the little touches put into making sure we had everything we needed to feel at home from a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels & linens, comfortable furniture and even a basket of assorted snacks & treats. Since the home has a smaller bathroom, it was nice to have a good amount of vanity space in each bedroom available to get ready each day & the outdoor shower came in handy after a long afternoon at the beach.Our host Teresa was AMAZING! She was quick to respond to a question I texted her on a Saturday afternoon regarding beach access & even went above & beyond to meet our needs. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for the perfect spot to enjoy a long or short stay at Folly! We are already making plans for our next stay

The cute little cottage was perfect for our short stay at Folly Beach. We came for the 4th of July fireworks -that were cancelled - but enjoyed our stay nevertheless. Cottage is as described online. Beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed.

Cozy and Perfect Location

We loved our stay! Location wise we were far enough for some peace and quiet but within walking distance of everything. My daughter loved the outside shower and all the little touches that made this stay so special.

Perfect place - Close to beach and town

We had a lovely stay. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Beach was only a few blocks away and easy travel. Neighborhood was quiet and quaint. The house was fully stocked which made it easy for me to grab a cup of coffee that first morning. Teresa was very responsive and ensured that our arrival was welcoming and departure easy.

Wonderful Host!

Had the Lil Pearl booked for a weekend however a last minute foot injury kept us from actually taking our trip! The property manager was great in communicating with me and even though we actually didn’t get to stay on the property, I would book again since Teresa was so great to deal with!

A great little beach house

The Lil' Pearl was a sweet little beach house and was fully equipped with anything we might need. We were able to walk to the beach and to the downtown area to find places to eat. My husband and I enjoyed our get-away.

Great fall vacation spot!

I rented this cottage for my parents who came to visit for Thanksgiving with their dog. They loved the location, and all of the little touches offered by Theresa. They had a great time!

First trip to Folly

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Very comfortable stay. Short walk to the beach. Love, love, loved the porch!!! Well appointed kitchen so we slept in and prepared our own breakfast each morning. Very restful stay. Close to everything!!! We will stay again.
