Welcome to Sand Castle, a spacious five-bedroom Folly Beach retreat with a private saltwater pool, extensive indoor and outdoor entertainment, and an exceptional walkable location. The home is only four doors from Center Street and a few blocks from the ocean, placing Folly Beach restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the beach within easy reach.

Three separate living areas give families and groups plenty of room to gather or spread out. The family room includes leather reclining seating and a 49-inch Roku HDTV, while the upstairs media and game room features an 80-inch HDTV, a rotating air hockey and pool table, and an arcade basketball game.

Outside, guests can relax beside the pool or enjoy the adjacent white-sand recreation area with a covered veranda, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and outdoor games. Ping-pong and magnetic darts are located in the enclosed ground-level area beneath the home.

With accommodations for up to 12 guests, multiple gathering spaces, a private pool, and one of Folly Beach's most convenient locations, Sand Castle is well suited for families and groups traveling together.

POOL NOTICE
The pool can be heated upon request for an additional fee of $40 per day. The fee will be added to your reservation after booking.
Pool heating must be requested and paid for at least two days in advance. Heating may only be requested for the entire stay or the entire remaining portion of the stay. To add pool heating, include the request when booking or contact our office during regular office hours.
The pool heater thermostat will be set between 82°F and 84°F. However, the pool may not reach temperatures above approximately 75°F during colder weather from mid-December through February or mid-March.
Weather and outdoor temperatures affect the pool temperature, and very cold conditions may prevent it from reaching 75°F. A specific temperature cannot be guaranteed on any day of the stay. Refunds will not be issued if weather conditions prevent use of the pool or keep it from reaching the desired temperature.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE
The home is accessed by stairs inside the enclosed ground-level area. A motorized chair lift is available to assist guests who cannot use the stairs. A three-wheel stair-climbing dolly is also available to help move belongings from the parking area into the home.

NOTES
Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a keyless-entry system. Your door code will be provided before arrival.
Parking: The paved driveway accommodates up to four vehicles. Public street parking may also be available, but spaces are not reserved or guaranteed.
Beach Equipment: Beach equipment is not provided. Guests may use any equipment found at the property, but its availability and condition are not guaranteed.
Downtown Charleston is approximately 12 miles from the home, and Charleston International Airport is approximately 22 miles away.

Smoking is prohibited both inside and outside the home.
Pets are not permitted.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals are not service animals under Titles II and III of the ADA and are not permitted unless the property is specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved in advance by our office.

HOUSE POLICIES
The home is located near downtown Folly Beach in a residential community with many full-time residents. Guests must respect the surrounding community, observe the listed maximum occupancy, and keep noise to a minimum at all times.

House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, and similar gatherings are strictly prohibited.

The Folly Beach noise ordinance is in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Your rental agreement states that use of the property may not disturb or offend surrounding residents.

To help protect our guests, neighbors, property owners, and the Folly Beach community, this home uses NoiseAware noise-monitoring technology. NoiseAware measures decibel levels only. It is privacy compliant and does not listen to or record conversations.

If noise exceeds the permitted level, guests may receive a courtesy text requesting that the volume be reduced before a violation occurs. This helps prevent police violations, fines, and possible revocation of the homeowner's business license.

The property's maximum occupancy of 12 guests may not be exceeded at any time during the stay.
If occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property, we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement and require that all guests vacate the property immediately without a refund.
