Downtown Folly Beach, where you'll find access points to the ocean, the iconic Folly Beach Pier, and a number of restaurants and shops, is three-quarters of a mile south. Downtown Charleston, which is known for its lovely architecture, storied history, and renowned restaurants, is only 11 miles north.
