"What an amazing quiet spot that made us feel like we where miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. When actually we were only a few minutes away from Traverse City and moments from East Bay! Tucked away in a cute little cabin on beautiful High Lake. Michelle, our host was so attentive, quick to reply to all of my questions, and went above and beyond our expectations. A wonderful and kind host we look forward to staying with again! From the thoughtful welcome basket to the property being well cared for and maintained, she really set our minds at ease and made the whole experience pleasant and enjoyable beyond our expectations! "We had a lovely stay. The location was so convenient to Traverse City, but still felt remote and peaceful. It was too wet to sit outside, but the lake was beautiful. The house was just the right size for two. A spectacular home-base for leaf-peeping."

The lake is beautiful and the bass fishing was great as well. The canoe and kayaks that are available were a nice bonus. The host was responsive during the entire process and communicated with us on a regular basis. The host even gave us some great recommendations on several area restaurants that were great. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. "

"Amazing location! We came for a wedding that was located on Rennie Lake, about 10 Minutes from our vacation rental. All we could think about was how much we wanted to return to our location so we could enjoy a peaceful sunset. The staircase is def steep but I felt very safe getting up and down them to the bed area. "
