"Such a cute like place on a small body of water. We enjoyed taking the pedal boat out around the small island. Just far enough out of the city it’s a short drive into TC. although the property is close to the owners home they are extremely nice individuals and would recommend anyone who wants a peaceful experience but not too far away from the city of TC to stay here. Cozy and comfortable accommodations!"

Quiet and Peaceful 3 Bedroom Family Cottage on Lake George, 12 Miles to TC

"Gayle and her sister Alison provided the perfect jumping-off point to visit Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island. The cute little cottage is fully appointed, complete with kayaks, firewood, a well-stocked kitchen and two full baths. It was a comfortable place to hang out after long days. The little lake made for beautiful, peaceful kayaking, and the distance from the city allowed for great star-gazing. Our visit there was a wonderful way to combine the peaceful setting in the woods with the hubbub of the touristy cities. Gayle and Alison couldn't have made us feel more at home and offered more than a few ideas off the beaten path so that we could avoid crowds sometimes."

"I don’t think I have anything derogatory to say about this property. It looked exactly like the listing stated and I brought my family 14 of us to this home. The only downside was that there were two king-size beds in the master bedroom and it really wasn’t conducive for our living space. But we made it work. Regardless of the bedrooms situation, the whole house was complete. Laundry areas were wonderful and needed, the kids enjoyed fishing. They caught bass right off the dock. They were so excited and made such a great memory for them.We also took part in the hot tub, which was fabulous.We were able to gather with the big kitchen table, which was wonderful as well.I would run here again now that we know what we’re in for.Also, the property manager was great. He really tried to make us feel at home and he had a boat situation but he made it all work. It really was a really nice stay. "
