NYE weekend

Great location for our purposes. Walked all over to restaurants shopping misc venue. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The house did not have many items available as I’m used to for a VRBO but it had all the basics and was clean and cozy. Oliver was great and thanks for the blow dryer!

The cottage is a cozy setting on the same property as the owner's house but it is very private. The cottage is located behind a gate and it has a separate entrance. We didn't see the owner, Oliver, but he was always quick to answer our questions and he wanted to ensure all was well. The cottage has been very renovated, and blends a historic site with modern style and conveniences. We also loved the historic Sailboat Bend neighborhood, convenient to Himmashee Village, the Broward Center and Las Olas and is a quick drive to the beach. Thank you, Oliver, for a lovely stay.

Easy Stay!

This is probably the kindest and fun host I have ever had. The beds were comfortable, the location was easy to find, and plenty of towels were provided. While the overall house was cleanly, the furniture had a bit of a foot smell that was not superrrr enjoyable. We also were a bit disappointed as the listing said a hairdryer was provided but upon arrival there was not one we could find. The location in Ft. Lauderdale was great and the area is quiet, safe, and private. Overall can’t give it quite 5 stars, but was a good stay.

Comfy and clean

The little cottage was comfortable for one person and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well every night. The pictures are not up to date as the vegetation around the cottage is much more overgrown than shows in the picture. Having to manually open and close the large gate was a little annoying but did make it more private. There were a couple of minor issues in the beginning but the host responded immediately and everything was resolved. All in all I had a wonderful stay and would probably stay there again.

Sailboat Bend

The property is a large, enclosed lot with tons of trees that make you feel the lushness of the flora. It is located across the street from a nice sized public area on a branch of the New River.
