Everything was amazing from the minute we pulled up to the resort until the day we checked up. The restaurant was wonderful and delicious and the Coconut Gelato was to die for (if you live coconut). I will definitely come back and stay here.

What a great space in a lovely resort. The ocean view is amazing! . The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the living room area.

Soectacular Views

Love the property! Everything available within the property...in room dining, restaurant with great service and food was delicious. Attendants were fantastic around the pool and beach! Comfortable beds and TV's in both areas. Love our stay and will definitely come back! Highly recommended! The only thing missing was a microwave, it will avoid getting rid of the leftovers...restaurant offer large portions

Perfect getaway

Had a relaxing and wonderful stay in February. Location on the beach was beautiful as well as a very walkable location. Restaurants close by so need to rent a vehicle and a short cab ride to Las Olas with plenty of bars and restaurants. Restaurants, bar and u e cream bar were very much enjoyed! Definitely would stay again.

Amazing condo

The condo was perfectly situated on the beach; the pool was heated; the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming; perfect place for a family vacation. The owner was quick to reply to all of my messages.

Location and beach view were great but the entire resort property is in need of renovation, not terrible but old and worn. Room definitely could use a deep cleaning and freshen up. It would be nice to have a microwave added to the room. The parking fee of 55/night tax should be disclosed in the listing but was not so this was an unpleasant surprise. Any purchases in the resort (drinks, food, etc.) also tack on an additional 22% “hospitality fee”.

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed the amazing views and sounds of the ocean every morning and every evening on the deck. The accommodations were lovely with plenty of space in the bedroom and living room areas. The resort is wonderful with beachfront lounging, a pool, lazy river, and friendly, helpful staff. We relaxed with drinks on the beach and ate delicious food in the lounge, restaurant, and other nearby options. The resort is quiet and walking accessible to shops and food. This was our second time visiting, and we would love to return soon.

Great Location

Some rooms at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort are owned by individuals and managed by the resort. Avoid these rooms and rent one specifically owned by the resort. You will receive better service.

One little hiccup at check in... I Think she could have been a little friendlier about check in time. I forgot about the late check, 4 PM. So, when my Fiance questioned her she got a little short with him. The staff, service and cleanliness was AWESOME!!!Saw some wear and tear and I think it would beneficial to the hotel to take care of those issues. For example the couch in our room, it was awkward to sit on because the board had poked through to the bottom, so it lop sided to sit on that side or the exhaust fan in the bathroom was noisy. We couldn't turn the light on from the fan ( above the beds) because the chain was missing. The iron was sticky from the last person ( they did bring us a brand new one and apologized). The outside patio door sticks etc.. Maintenance came up twice. The dresser draw handle was put back on ,( instead of being fixed properly) piece of the handle was missing on one side. So when I opened the top draw the handle came off in my hand. We feel those Little details are so important! We know things are going to happen, not everything is expected to 100 % but the less the better. We own apartments in Chicago so we know what goes into it. I do want to say.... again the CLEANLINESS AND STAFF WERE AWESOME, AMAZING.We had a great time and would totally recommend the Pelican to family and friends.

So Great! Awesome!

I have used VRBO several times. The owner Annette was very responsive. Communication was a 10. My questions were answered very quickly and efficiently. When I walked into the resort lobby, SO Beautiful. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful! The resort’s web site boasts sense of old Florida grandeur. I loved the flash back of a simpler elegant time. The wood work in the lobby, in the hallways and in the rooms displayed fine craftsman! I loved the carved pelicans in the wood work. Then in our room. Wow! The bathroom is large. We had a two king bed room. We had an ocean front room with a nice size balcony and the view was spectacular! We had dinner in the resort restaurant called OCEAN2000. We had a candle lit romantic table on the outdoor covered porch, the food was phenomenal and was to die for, although a bit pricy, it was the best dining I have experienced at a beach resort. The waiters and the restaurant manager welcomed us and the service was exceptional! There was only one thing that may need a small improvement. During the fine dining time on the deck, there were people walking through the dining area in swimming attire. It appears that this is the main through-way to the beach from the resort and that felt a little inappropriate. I feel like it would appeal more to the fine dining experience if they could direct beach traffic through the pool entrance during dining hours. That is not a deal breaker though! This rental is so well worth it!

Great location and beautiful place. The room is very spacious and the additional living room is an added bonus. Would have been nice if there was a microwave but there is a fridge, sink and coffee maker in the room. Only negative I would say is your only parking option is valet and it is 55 per day plus tip. Publix is about a mile down the road which is nice. It is quieter here away from the Ft Lauderdale beach noise.
