Great pool!

Well-appointed home—nice kitchen and fixtures—in a good location with plenty of room to sleep. Some minor aspects of the property could use a little TLC, but the home is clean and safe. Pleasant communications with an accommodating and responsive host. Best feature is the large, heated, very well-kept pool—perfect for a family vacation.

Plumbing problems and no promised compensation

This property is newly remodeled and clean but our stay was full of plumbing issues and lack of follow through from the manager/owner. We spent two nights and multiple days with no working toilets or showers. Previous tenants must have flushed tons of wipes, as the wipes and sewage overflowed into the backyard. The manager did not call us (“please text only”) or offer more than “I will get a plumber there tomorrow” until the second night of flushed wipes and sewage leaking into the backyard. They indicated there had been previous plumbing issues prior to our arrival, so it was not our fault. We were assured that we would be refunded a portion to compensate for the troubles, but then upon our trip ending we received no refund and no replies to communication attempts. They did provide a meal delivery on our last night, half of which didn’t arrive, but that does not make up for 6 individuals unable to use showers, toilets, dishwasher, laundry for multiple days. Additionally we had to hook up the washing machine ourselves (disconnected due to plumbing issues before our arrival) and have the plumber adjust the water heater so we weren’t taking cold showers.
