"Parking was confusing. No after hours service."

"Stayed here for a nearby conference. Clean. Staff helped with late check-in. Booked this for price and reviews but also free onsite parking, only to find there are only 7 parking spots for 36 rooms. The same seven cars were in the spots for my entire 3 day stay. This resulted in having to find street parking, which was free but not easy. This is especially true on Tuesday night when half of the streets have 6AM street cleaning on Wednesday morning--took me over an hour to find a spot. My original plan was to leave the car parked for my stay and take public transit, but I could not do this because there are posted limits to daytime parking everywhere in the neighborhood. So I ended up having to drive everywhere during my stay and paid enough in parking garage fees to negate much of the savings I got by staying at this motel. So...I recommend you avoid this place if you are arriving by car. Otherwise, as per other reviews, it is an older wooden structure that is about what you would expect, but during my stay there were no noise issues from other guests, and I slept well on the new mattress with the aid of the HVAC system providing white noise. No frills. Old roughed-up furnishings probably purchased used from other hotels that were upgrading. Lots of DIY repairs that are not aesthetically great. But it seemed safe, served my needs, and I would consider staying again if I do not have a car with me."

Room was clean and front desk staff friendly and helpful. Firm mattress. Was quiet in room despite street traffic. So happy about that."
