"We enjoyed our stay as a family of 12 (10 adults & 2 kids) in this reasonably priced lake home, complete with use of kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles, etc., a nice bonus! The property location is in a quiet neighborhood, and we experienced no security issues while there. It was a joy to see and hear so many families around the lake enjoying the hot summer days in the water, like us. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. Communication with the host was simple via the VRBO app and cell phone, and she was very responsive (e.g., to obtain additional linens for our large group, to address a contractor who arrived unexpectedly to take measurements in the home). She was also open to our feedback on how well the house cleaners and gardeners performed their work prior to check-in (e.g., ice maker needed deep cleaning, some light bulbs out, ivy overgrowing the outdoor shower), as she may not have been aware of some upkeep needs; she sent the gardeners to deal with the outdoor shower while we were there. A couple things to be mindful of for travelers with mobility issues (as our group): the home is on a hillside, with three-stories inside the house, and stairs down to the lake, so it may be difficult for those who cannot do stairs well; also, the seating (chairs, couches) inside the home was not the most comfortable for those with back or hip issues, yet we found the outdoor patio seating more comfortable than inside for those issues. Overall, we were pleased! Thank you!"

"Besides not being able to get the WiFi password to work (we just made do) & no central air (the upstairs bedrooms got a little stuffy @ times but the fans helped) everything else was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked, loved the access to the lake with wildlife everywhere including bald eagles. The view of Mt Rainer was beautiful. Would definitely rent this house again. 4th of July fireworks on the lake was an added bonus. Thank you for your hospitality."

"My son and I were in town for a lacrosse tournament, and this was the perfect place for our stay. The room was cozy, clean, well stocked, etc. The on-site hosts were lovely. The back yard and the lake are incredible! The water craft that are available to use made it so fun, although they could use a few more oars. There is no AC, but the breeze coming off the lake kept it very comfortable in the room. We absolutely loved our stay, and we would absolutely book again."
Hotel Quality Stay in the Heart of Lakewood

"Cute older home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Easy to find and close to needed amenities. It is an older home with nice updates, normal wear and tear for older home. Definitely be aware the stairs to the king bedroom are very steep, but once your up there you do have your own bathroom. Only TV in the living room which, which I like to know ahead of time. Main floor has one bedroom with a queen? bed, maybe full size, all other beds are twin, with one trundle in the basement. Stairs to basement rooms are also very steep and no bathroom in the basement, so you would need to go up to main floor if you needed it in the night just as a FYI. Beds we used were very comfortable. The king bed is very high so keep that in mind if you are short, or have mobility concerns with climbing into bed. Nice gas stove with microwave above. I am very short, 5 foot, so access to the microwave would have required a strrp stool for safety. When we were here it was near 80 and the air conditioners kept it very comfortable inside the house."
