"We loved the little cabins we stayed in. We even jumped into the water for a wee swim and then would run back into the cabin for a hot shower. Staff was very friendly. The cabins come with little kitchens so we enjoyed breakfast while looking at the beautiful view. Reccomended!!!"

"What a great little place! It's perfect if you need a home-base and want to tour around the area. It's simple but lovely and well maintained. So clean! Alan, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and not just about the area! He has geology knowledge upon food recommendations upon hiking/walking/climbing trails. We got a lovely reception as soon as we arrived. It isn't fancy but the atmosphere and service are 5 star. "

"It’s a beautiful place to stay. We had a lovely room, the view was excellent. The bed was super comfy and the linens were beautiful. The tub was great. My only advice would be make sure you have a car. There is nothing around, and it’s a 25-30 pound taxi into Fort William. We took a bus but it was a 20 minute walk and runs on the hour. The hotel has a small menu and the food was nice. They have a nice lounge and bar. "

"We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."

Place itself is lovely ,no bar area ,which little disappointing. Bar is actually the restaurant. Good 15 mins walk to town centre . Nothing really around hotel a round about and a main rd ."
