"Absolutely magical stay and the highlight of our month long trip. This place is amazing and remarkably affordable this time of year (late September) Staying in an 11th century castle with suites rooms that have had the essentials very cleverly modernised without losing the stunning authenticity of the castle. Paolo took us on a wonderful tour of the castle including into its depths explaining all the history. Francesco was wonderful in making sure we were taken care of and Laura is an amazing chef. The breakfast has to be seen to be believed. This is a family owned property they have inherited and they have done an incredibly job of preserving and enhancing it. You wake up in the morning and have to pinch yourself to make sure you are not still dreaming. It even has EV charging in the car park which was great for us. (you don't want to pay European petrol prices!) We enjoyed ourselves so much we are making it our anniversary holiday stay every year from now on."

Carlo ci ha contattati tempestivamente per confermare la prenotazione e ha mantenuto una comunicazione costante e impeccabile sia prima che durante il soggiorno, fornendoci informazioni preziose e ottimi suggerimenti sulla zona, inclusi ristoranti e luoghi da visitare. Il giorno dell’arrivo ci ha gentilmente informati che le camere sarebbero state disponibili prima dell’orario previsto per il check-in, un’attenzione che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato dopo un lungo viaggio in auto. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti con grande cordialità e ci ha accompagnati nelle camere, arredate con gusto e cura nei dettagli. La villa è davvero suggestiva e si integra perfettamente con il magnifico paesaggio circostante, offrendo un’atmosfera di pace e autenticità. La mattina seguente abbiamo gustato una deliziosa colazione accompagnata da un ottimo caffè, serviti con una cura e un’attenzione degne di una struttura a cinque stelle. "My wife, two teenage children, and two other teenage traveling companions visited Montefortino and it was an all around amazing time and experience! The host and his wife treated us all like family the moment we arrived and he wouldn't rest until he knew everyone was feeling perfectly bliss. They cooked and fed us like kings and queens our entire stay. He insisted on obliging us on any question or simple inquiry to learn more about and enjoy everything in the absolutely beautiful region and environment. The home is a spacious comfort cottage in the mountains. The air conditioners were new, reliable, and everyone slept perfectly sound. An added bonus was knowing we'd be waking up to a delicious home cooked breakfast feast that was waiting for us to enjoy under the beautiful morning sun. The real beauty, however, is the people. On our last night, at our impromptu request, the host and his wife welcomed us into their kitchen to teach our four teenagers to make traditional pasta and desserts. Their loving dogs entertained my family that night and for our entire stay. We ended up eating dinner and celebrating that night with them and a few others from the surrounding towns. None of us were ready to leave when it was time to head out. You don't want to miss this experience!"

Der Ausblick ist sensationell und beim Vogelgezwitscher auf dem Balkon in der Sonne zu frühstücken ist Erholung pur. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und mit allem Notwendigen umfassend ausgestattet. Die Matratzen sind gut und in der Küche funktioniert alles.Von Judith erhält man nicht nur frische Eier ihrer Hühner, sondern auch die besten Tipps fürs Einkaufen und Essen gehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!"

The spa is small but lovely and I particularly enjoyed the massage with Cristiana - book it if you have a chance. The dinner was excellent and I loved the wine list with lots of local wines to choose from. Overall I highly recommend this relais for a relaxing stay in Marche."
