"It's good locationwise . This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the state park and about 7-10 minutes away from the rainbow bridge and observation deck (walking) which is great for crossing over to Toronto. There's a few cute souvenir shops nearby and Amala restaurant is a good place to dine and it's located around the corner from the Wingate. But it opens at 5PM The room was fair the walls can use a scrub but the important stuff like clean, fresh towels and bedding were great. But the walls can use a little TLC. One inconvenience is the room keycards. The keycards will not work when you return from your day out. Have the keycards reprogrammed to open your door by the nice people at the check-in counter before going up to the room.The staff will totally understand because It happens all the time. Breakfast was good enough it gets the job done. The staff was friendly, informative and quick to help. Enjoy your stay."

"It's decent, you have to always be quiet or someone will complain and front desk will be knocking on your door within a minute, overall friendly staff though. Housekeeping is a bit slow with picking up trash outside your room as instructed to do so. Rooms are pretty good, beds are creaky as I always was waking my partner getting in and out of bed to go to the restroom. "

"Worst stay in many years. Check in clerk was busy with other employee giving her cash and ignoring us. After over 5 minutes I asked him if we should go and return later. Just finished 10 hour drive. We travel here several times a year to visit family. Just thought would try a different hotel. Entire wing of hotel smelled like weed every day. Room smelled like cigarettes. Dog in next room would be howling and barking every morning from 7-8. Last night here the room across hallway playing LOUD music and had several guests the would frequently be in hallway making noise and music playing until after 3am. Called front desk and she didn’t want to do anything until I explained that my next call would be police. She was reluctant to help. Guess we will go back to other hotels used previously."

"Everything about my stay was excellent. The room was very nice. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. One of the main highlights of my stay was the hospitality that was provided by the wait staff during the breakfast. Dennis was an absolute delight, very pleasant & eager to assist & he made the experience for myself & my guest that of a great one"
