"Best view of Fowey from terrace. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice. Our room was clean, bed very comfortable. Excellent hotel experience."

"Better than expected. Beautiful building, fabulous room - in great condition, very comfy and clean. Tea and coffee making that included fresh milk in the fridge. Spa also brilliant as well as a great breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Didn't stay with kids, but would be perfect for families with all the extra ameneties."

"A comfy settee, it slopes forward and is hard to sit on. Difficult to improve but if you had a noisy group in next door it would be difficult. We heard every word of their conversation whisky we say in our lounge. I get that they are just the other side of the door. Felt a bit intrusive though, although they were not a noisy group of girls at all, which was good."

"A beautiful cottage which was warm and welcoming. Excellent views, decor and furnishings. Extremely convenient for pubs, convenience store, and the Polruan passenger ferry. Our host was just an email away to assist with any queries. We would recommend this lovely cottage 100%"

"Lovely comfortable character cottage in a great location, but let down by being on a building site - which we were not warned about. Had issue with the heating on arrival which were promptly sorted by the owner that evening. Builders were considerate but should have been told before booking that there were houses being built directly outside. If no builders would definitely recommend! "

"Absolutely disgraceful and completely thieving business! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I stayed at this Pub in Dec 25 and the accommodation was booked and paid for weeks prior with a well known and reputable third party. Upon arrival it was questioned whether I had paid for the accommodation and I advised the lady that yes it was paid for already and I showed her the receipt. She said no problem and acknowledged that it had been paid. Upon checkout, I was waiting to be served and I saw another couple in front of me who were also questioning why they were being charged, as they had also paid their bill weeks earlier. They also provided a receipt providing proof of payment to the staff member. The employee explained to them that their computer system is down and nothing is working properly at the moment and there are often issues. She told them not to worry and the accommodation bill would be removed. She then tried to charge them an additional amount for apparent in room food charges but could not provide an explanation as to what the charges were for. After this abysmal example of customer service, I then saw a third couple after me complain about the exact same thing. Yet again, additional charges trying to be laid when they had already been paid. When it came time for me to check out, the lady behind the bar confirmed that my bill had been paid and she also took a screenshot of the receipt and said she’d pass it onto the manager.
