The cabin was beautiful and just as pictured. The kitchen had everything we could need and the entire house was very clean and well decorated. The view from the deck was incredible and such a great place to start the morning and wind down in the evening. The host was very responsive and helpful in preparation for and during our stay when a question came up!
Everything was perfect — from the seamless check-in to the well-equipped kitchen. The stay was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, allowing us to truly relax and recharge.Tip: Recommend to drive SUV to get there
We loved our stay in the Franklin A-Frame. The property was gorgeous. The rooms were clean. And Patrick went above and beyond to be an exceptional host. We would love to stay here again.
The location, view and cabin itself were great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to a few concerns- the gravel road is washing out with big gullies due to lack of county maintenance. The inside of the grill is completely rusted out and unsafe to use, and the hot tub jets don't work. But the view from the porch and seclusion made our stay worth it.
Loved the home. The location was great but it had been raining in the area for sometime and the road to the cabin was very rough. Also the cabin views are excellent and majestic but you hear traffic from the main road. You don’t see cars but you hear them. The cabin was very nice and the location was great. Close enough to Downtown Franklin and Highlands. The views are amazing and each morning there was a raccoon family playing in the tree, beautiful birds singing and clouds that were snug on the mountains.
Our family had a fantastic time at the Franklin A-Frame cabin! It’s located in a beautiful area with lots of lovely waterfalls and hiking trails, perfect for anyone who enjoys nature and the outdoors. If you’re in the mood for exploring a nearby town, it’s just a short drive to Franklin and only about 20 minutes to the charming town of Highlands. The cabin itself was wonderful. We loved spending our evenings on the large deck, which faces west and offers stunning views of the sunset over the mountains. The propane fire pit was a nice addition that made our evenings even cozier. As some other guests have noted, the road leading up to the cabin is a bit rough, but that’s what you get with a mountain cabin in western North Carolina. Our smallish road-based SUV handled the road just fine. It is all-wheel-drive but it’s not a high clearance 4wd meant for off-road adventures.Overall, we had an amazing 3-day getaway at the Franklin A-Frame and would definitely come back if we visit the area again!
