This is a beautiful unit set in an old historic church that is over 150 years old. This unit has a separate entrance at the back of the church with designated parking. It is 3 levels with an antique spiral staircase leading down to the large open living area downstairs. The downstairs living area also serves as the second bedroom with a daybed, pull out couch bed, dedicated closet, and it's own exterior access. There is a small deck/balcony off the level with the main bedroom. It has a completely remodeled interior with new modern decor. This unit has brand new kitchen, appliances, and original old hardwood flooring.

Great location, clean, well stocked kitchen. Iron and ironing board available. They do provide small toiletries. 1 TV in the lower level (basement) but wasnt a huge deal for us since we were busy helping with a wedding. Could use more towels and linens. We bought our own ice since there were no rrays and ice maker in fridge was not working. Comfortable and convenient to walking and exploring downtown Frederickburg.

This is the perfect location for exploring historic downtown Fredericksburg. Just blocks away from the train station and from quaint shops and eateries, not to mention the Rappahannock River. We loved staying here!

Pros: Great central location with easy access to shops, dining, historical attractions. Cons: only controllable heat was on 3rd floor bedroom. 1st 2 floors were a bit cold for comfort. Narrow spiral staircase access to tv/sitting area not advisable for anyone with mobility problems or small children.

We loved how clean and quiet the property was. Our only issues were with the power lines over the parking space which were low and concerning and with the AC unit being in the bedroom which would turn off after a while but overall it was a wonderful stay right in the heat of Fredricksburg.

We had to stay in town while our plumbing was being repaired and I really liked liked this property. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to use. I wish there were more than four plates, bowls, etc since it felt like you had to wash them after each use. The second bed is in the basement area down the spiral staircase, and not super private.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg! The unit was located in an old church in a very safe location! The unit was clean, cute and cozy! We were in town for a soccer tournament for our daughter with friends. The town has so much to offer with shopping, food, history and entertainment. The host answered all of our questions immediately and was very helpful!

The townhome was in a perfect location for us. We had a wedding to attend which was within walking distance. Everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance. Beautiful town to visit. The VRBO had all of the amenities that we needed and was perfect for us!

We visited Fredericksburg for a Civil War/family event. We got this booking and absolutely enjoyed the stay and location. Some may be put off by seeing that is an old church, but I think they did a good job turning it into a nice place for someone to stay. Step out and walk all through Historic Downtown Fredericksburg (which is absolutely beautiful). Great Time!

We loved this little place. Spiral staircase was a little scary the first time but we got used to it. The only other negative was the parking spot provided was a little tight for a full size pick-up but it does fit. Other than that this is a fabulous location and easy check-in and check-out, 5 Stars!

The property was very nice, quiet and exceptionally clean! We had a few questions and the property manager was very responsive. Our only issues were that the kitchen was not well stocked (only a set of 4 dishes) and the sleeping arrangements. We had 5 people and were able to fit, but the pull out sofa was really not comfortable for 2. It fits 3-4 people better. We had a great stay, though!

The property was perfect for us! I love a quirky space, and this renovated church fit the bill. It was located a block away from where our event was, so, perfect. My only issue was with the property management, we decided we wanted to arrive a day earlier if possible. I made the reservation modification request, no response, two days later I sent a message, that response was “we’ll look into it”. Sent another message two days after that, similar response. I could see on the availability calendar that the unit was available. Finally I called and got a response. I’ve never had to put so much effort into a rental before. It was frustrating and with everything else I had going on to prepare for the weekend.
