"We frequent Custer, and began staying here last year since they are now open year round. Not all are in a tourist town. The staff is very nice, rooms are beautiful and clean and the breakfast is good as well. We love this hotel and can't imagine staying elsewhere when we're in town. Nice job to management and their team"

"Kitchen very well stocked, bed and linens good, cute exterior and interior. Bathroom lighting inadequate and bathroom sink tiny and recessed behind mirror - awkward. Instructions for the TV remote would have been helpful - we were not able to figure out how to change channels, It was too cold to experience the inviting Firepit and seating inside the wrought iron fenced patio. All in all a charming unique property."

"There were some definite positives and a few negatives from our stay. During our stay, there was a leak from the upstairs tub that came through the ceiling below. The host responded quickly and addressed the issue. As a result, the upstairs shower was not usable for about 12 hours, and the washing machine was unavailable for the duration of our stay. The host compensated us due to these issues.The home is built on a slope, and the floors are noticeably slanted throughout the house. The upstairs sliding door did not lock, the host did give us the option to have someone come in and fix, but we declined. The king bedroom had a closet but did not have a hanging bar, and there were no dressers in the bedrooms. Because of this, there was no way to unpack clothes during a multi-day stay. There were also no dish towels or dish rags provided. While there was a dishwasher, it would have been nice if we would have known this prior. The hot tub was available and a nice amenity, but we weren't there much so we only used it once. For the future, we don't think we'd want one. Overall, communication with the host was prompt, and they addressed concerns when notified. I would stay here again if the maintenance issues get addressed prior to the stay. "
