"My son and I had the best time staying at Custer’s Rendezvous. The history of the place made it fun and novel. Sharing the bathroom upstairs worked well for us and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was as described in the listing, and Kalyn was wonderful with communication. We flew in to the airport at Custer a couple of days early due to poor forecast weather for our planned day of arrival and she was able to accommodate us. The location is perfect for walking to the many excellent restaurants in town, and is central to all the sites we wanted to visit. The Bad Lands was an easy day trip and well worth the drive. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience."

"The property was centrally located in Custer. Loved the loft decor. Communication and the check-in process were easy. Great location, and we enjoyed our trip to SD. We wish there were additional seating in the living room area, perhaps a comfortable chair. The curtains in the bedrooms are very sheer, so they don't block the morning light. We stayed for a week, so we would have liked a few more towels. We were also informed that the Custer park pass was no longer available and that the pool is a public pool, not private. Just some things to consider."
