"We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have asked for. The host, Donny, was truly wonderful—so kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. We were even offered a ride to the drop offs/ pick ups from floating the river by him. Perfect location right by Comanche Crossing. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back!! Highly recommend! Thanks again Mr. Donny!"

"We rented an RV and had no idea this was even a thing. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Nothing is ever perfect, but just having someone try their best to make you happy is what matters most to me. The property itself is amazing and this is definitely a place we will come back to, either renting or bringing our own RV. They are also right in the heart of where the best spots on the Frio are."

"This house worked out well with the number of people we had. It’s a beautiful home and had almost everything we needed. The pool was a godsend in the heat and after being on the river. We really enjoyed our stay and when I wanted to extend one more day, the host was more than accommodating. Definitely would stay again!"

"t was a very fun house! The pool was awesome, the view from the balcony was amazing, and it got COLD at night!The only nitpicky things I would mention are that there weren’t many utensils or pans available, so if you plan on cooking a meal at the house, I would advise bringing EVERYTHING you need to prepare it. We did burgers and hot dogs outside, which worked out great, and I would definitely recommend utilizing the outdoor grill.One last thing: be careful in the pool. There are areas where it drops from about 3 feet to 5 feet pretty quickly, and you could easily twist an ankle if you’re not paying attention.Overall, this was a very fun weekend! There is A LOT of space for a huge group, plenty of places to sleep, and I would HIGHLY recommend this place for your next weekend getaway."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was enjoyable at the cabin. You do have an access pass to the river, but parking is about a football fields walk and the spot is pretty crowded on the weekends. Everyone is very friendly though! The washing machine is on site, but has a bad smell- so I would bring enough clothes! Other than that the place was clean and the beds were comfy. Thanks for a fun stay at the Frio!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great little cabin for me, my husband, and our son. It is tucked in the trees, and its A frame is beautiful. The hot tub is perfectly positioned under it to where it protects you from rain but still gives a perfect view of the stars at night! There's a walking trail that takes you down to a small stream. My son loved looking for creatures. Lol. The BBQ grill is run on natural gas so no need to bring charcoal or propane. The bed is in the loft upstairs and its a California king i believe because my king size sheets barely hooked the top corners. It feels like a brick unfortunately. There is a futon type couch downstairs that has a thin mat on it. Which was fine because my son is 5. Make sure to either pay to rent their sheets, towels, rags, a month in advance or remember to pack all of it because there are none and you have to have sheets on the bed per the rules. Also bring toilet paper and all essentials needed. It does have pots pans plates bowls and all of that! Overall we loved our stay. It was perfect for our little family and we can't wait to come back and stay again."
