Excellent Location
Fantastic apartment with everything that you need and location is excellent for bars, shops and restaurants. The only thing I would have liked was the option of a blackout blind in the bedroom but this is purely a personal preference.

Perfect home away from home
Great communication from owner throughout and everything exactly as described. Very comfortable apartment in a well looked after complex. The large balcony is perfect to relax on. Easy walking distance to all amenities. Will definitely be back.

Excellent location
The apartment was clean and comfortable, we thought the bed was excellent. We thought at first the balcony wasn't going to get much sun but it shone from rising until about 5.00pm. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of dishes for the oven, there are none and for us it was a huge disappointment as we self cater most evenings. The fridge freezer was large Whis is an added bonus. The shower was always red hot and the water pressure was excellent. However I think that the sealant coukd be renewed as this let's an otherwise good bathroom down. The television channels are extremely limited but that didn't spoil our stay. The management team we're excellent and responded to any niggles immediately. Check-in was easy and straight forward. Finding a sunbed could be a problem as you have the annoying holiday makers who queue up to make sure their towels are placed on a bed then go out for hours, but if we had been out there generally was always a bed on our return (albeit a single, just as well my husband isn't bothered about lying around the pool) Overall a really good stay in a very nice apartment on a well kept clean and maintained resort close to all amenities.

Thanks for the review, yes the balcony is a sun trap from morning till night. The sealant has now been renewed. I have purchased a further two oven dishes now. I’m sorry about the pool area sun-beds, it’s beyond my control how the other guests in the whole complex behave. Glad you enjoyed your holiday & look forward welcoming you again.

Convenient and basic
The calimas in Fuerteventura unfortunately leave most outdoor areas with a coating of dust so the outdoor parts needed cleaning and mopping down. The apartment is very handy for everything being, central. The provisions are sparse so you need to provide washing up liquid and detrgent though this is probably normal. Good value for the price being charged though. Only one set of keys though which may be a pain if you don't go out together.

Thanks for the review If you mentioned that you required a second key the the check in lady, she would have provided you with one. Due to hygiene reasons & minimise waste we don’t provide washing up liquid, however the supermarket is 1 min from the complex & open till mid night, again if you would have messaged the lady, she would have bought one for you. Glad you enjoyed the stay & found the location perfect

Great little apartment
Having had a few recent rentals with water pressure issues, this was great - boiling water and a good shower and a relatively private verandah that gets the sun up to about 6pm (though the sunbeds are not comfortable as they have a gap). Ideally situated bang in the centre of Caleta. I didn't use the pool but it looked all good. Would book this one again.

I've been holidaying in The Canaries for the last 8 years and, unfortunately, this was the worst accommodation I've stayed in. To describe it as "newly refurbished" is at best highly misleading...the kitchen area may be relatively new...the rest of the apartment is not. It's tired and well past its sell-by date and there was insufficient bedding provided. The shower leaked, flooding the bathroom whenever we used it (for us twice daily) and we were faced with transporting dripping bath mats to the terrace each time, where, due to it being in the shadows of neighbouring properties, didn’t dry. By day 2 we had two revolting, sodden and stinky mats which we had to keep using. The "sun" terrace is small and does not get any sun! ... it's narrow and is surrounded on both sides by high, overhanging adjacent properties. The balcony is also home to the mop and bucket (presumably left there as the leaking shower was already known about). Despite raising the shower issue, and the lack of bedding to the local agent, nothing was done. The wi-fi and satellite TV are a joke (these are not major gripes, although I was assured on booking that wi-fi was available). Overall this was a really disappointing property. On the plus side, the complex itself is pleasant enough, the pool area is nice and the outside areas are clean, tidy and well looked after. When we were there, there was sufficient space and facilities to find a sunbed at all times.

what you see is what you get.
The balcony was in need of a deep clean, there had obviously been a storm prior to our visit but we left the balcony a lot cleaner than we found it. What you see in the pictures is what you get and it is looking a bit tired. But overall it was fine.

Lovely Central Complex
Says it has been refurbished but it is very dated. Bed is very comfortable. 3 Safes only one of which worked and one other buzzed day and night Ceiling fan was on to keep us cool and drown out the noise. Everything is supplied but the quality and age of the utensils and furnishings are not good compared to other properties in the area we have stayed in for a similar price. Really needs a deep clean and replacement of broken and damaged items or a complete refurbishment.

Perfect Location, perfect holiday.
We've come to Caleta for a few years but have always used hotels and as this was our first time 'private rental' we were slightly nervous. We needn't have been! Booking and Registration couldn't have been simpler. The apartment has everything you could need, Iron, hairdryer, Safe, Washing machine, wifi etc. We found the Villa Florida complex to be an ideal central location for exploring the local bars, restaurants and the beach. The pool and surrounding area was spotlessly clean and we had no problem getting sunbeds. We took the late book out option (€20) as our flight home wasn't until the evening,which we thought very reasonable. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!

The property was perfect! it ticked all the boxes for us. Everything you need from kitchen utensils to sun loungers. the bed was very comfortable which was a big bonus for me as I usually suffer back pain, not this year! The location of the property was excellent, within walking distance of everything from excellent restaurants to the lovely beach. The pool area and snack bar was also excellent, good service and very clean. Having my 14 year old with me he was a bit disappointed the pool was closed off from around 6.30 every evening but apart from that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this apartment in Villa Florida. We will definitely be back! Liz July 2019

Worked For Us
A very good location for just about everything in Castillo Caleta de Fuste. Had all the bits and bobs as stated in the property ad and was good value for money but, there is always a but, we both found the stairs a bit precarious, especially coming down as the bottom two steps were very deep compared to the rest, also nothing to hold onto so that made matters even worse. The was no sun on the secluded balcony, probably due to the time of year, the pool was surrounded by smokers who just took over the place, that is not the owners fault, just a fact that smokers in Spain just smoke where they please. The bar area was very nice and the guy there was very pleasant, as was the girls at reception. We spent every day down at the beach as the pool was a no go area for me, which worked out well because we walked all over the town, must have gone down every road and some more in the neighbouring towns, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If I stayed at the complex again I would probably be looking for a ground floor apartment as the stairs, as mentioned, were dodgy for me.

This apartment is situated in a complex. There is three swimming pools ( one a chidrens) . Lovely tropical gardens. The apartment...clean, comfortable, very spacious balcony with three loungers, table and chairs. All amenities one could wish for. Only fault was the stairs. In our opinion could do with handrails. We felt very unsafe climbing them. Having said that , we will be returning again hopefully in the near future.

Clean apartment in a great location with an all day sun kissed balcony!
We stayed here as a family late August and had a fabulous week! The apartment was clean, well looked after and had everything we needed for our stay. The complex is small but again well looked after, the pool is salt water but my children still played in it every day with no problems. We did not use the pool bar so cannot comment on the prices or the quality there. We used the free bus service to get to the Atlantico Centre for the supermarket or 4euros in a taxi. Once you are at the Atlantico Centre, take a walk through and put onto the beach, there are lovely little bays which make the water calmer and better for swimming. Outside of the complex there are lots of shops and restaurants. Five minutes walk to the left and you are in the centre of Caleta de Fuste, ten minutes to the right you are at the harbour and another gorgeous beach where you can do water sports, feed huge schools of fish and take boat trips. You can book excursions through reception, we booked and visited the water park in correlejo for our second time, it’s worth the money and the journey! Ghiselle was extremely accommodating, we were more than happy with our experience and we had a fabulous holiday! Thank you!

Fab. Super Smashing
The apartment is in a great location at the centre of the resort. You could'nt wish for a better place to stay than here. It contains everything you need for a Fab Holiday The Large Balcony is Super, We did not go round the pool once, Supermarket, restaurants and bars and only a few minutes to the huge sandy beach. The balcony is large with lovely sun loungers, table and chairs, and is ideal being part in the sun and part in the shade. Overall really Fab Apartment with everything you will need and more. Really enjoyed our stay. So pleased we Picked this apartment.

One bedroom Flat in Villa Florida
We have stayed in Villa Florida several times and this apartment was very good and well situated in the complex. It was clean, well furnished and well equipped. In particular the washing machine was very welcome. The bathroom has recently been renovated. The pool and sun lounges were excellent. The pool was heated. The property manager was brilliant. Ghiselle was very obliging and helpful. We did not know whether our arrival would be on time due to flight disruptions and so Ghiselle made arrangements for getting the key to us if we were late. On our next trip to Caleta we will try to secure this property fist if it is available.

The property was exactly what we needed, clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location for plenty of choice of restaurants and pubs. Short walk from the sea front and marina. We didn't use the pool only because we were out and about instead. Plenty of equipment to self cater however we ate out. The owner is quick to respond to emails and is very helpful and friendly. Not true apartment was not cleaned when you arrived due to miscommunication with cleaner but was cleaned as soon as I found out and the cleaner came back the next day to finish cleaning as there was a problem with the water but it was cleaned . Do not appreciate this as you got my apartment for a bargain of only 177 euros for the whole week when it should have been 400 euros don’t worry I have learnt my lesson don’t lower price better to leave it empty than have unappreciative people
