"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. The building is a 150-year-old restaurant, and the stay included a shared bedroom with eight futon beds, an adjacent family room, a private bathroom, and a shared onsen. "愛知県の自然に囲まれた素敵なお宿でした。愛知県在住ですが、なかなか県内旅行の機会はありませんでした。今回コロナで県外への行動制限により、このような発見ができてよかったです。古い建物ですので最新の設備ではありませんが、清潔で快適に過ごすことができました。(自然の中ですので虫は仕方がないと思います。) お食事も地産地消で楽しめました。忘れ物をしてしまいましたが、丁寧な梱包で迅速に対応して頂けました。"

"今回、大井川鉄道のイベントに参加しました。 新金谷駅からとても近く、今回はビール列車参加後とても快適に過ごすことができました。 遠方から車で来られる人におすすめです。 宿泊先の隣にはゆい商会というカフェがあり、そこのハンバーガーがとても美味しかったです。 次の日は夢の吊り橋や奥大井湖上駅、道の駅　川根温泉を観光ができ、充実した旅行になりました。"
