Great hotel, centrally located!

A very nice hotel with a beautiful garden area including a swimmingpool. The room was also nice and we had a great view towards the garden. An advise to the personnel; upon arrival you must smile and welcome the guests, make them feel valuable and unique 😊

Great location. The rooms have too much furniture for the size which makes it feel cramped and our room was on a noisy street. Access to the amenities of the next door Pestana Casino property is a big bonus.

Spacious rooms and welcoming staff

Very friendly staff, nice spacious rooms (with kitchen gear if needed), clean and a bit more quiet on the courtyard side. No special view on courtyard side. Pool outside but most of amenities (restaurant, other pool) on Casino side.

Lovely colourful rooms. A bit on the small size but you don’t spend a lot of time in them. Great that as a little kitchenette but if I recall correctly no kettle? Nice little swimming pool at the back. Also can use Pestana pools next door. The pool restaurant next door could improve on their snack offerings. Offer simple things like hot chick fries and snacks. Good location, close to restaurants, grocery store and a great bakery/cafe (A Confeitaria). The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Very nice, clean, modern hotel apartment.

Really nice room with very comfy bed, good shower, convenient little kitchenette, nice balcony, very very tidy. Pool looked pleasant but we didn't use as we had free use of the pools and spa at the sister hotel immediately next door (which is a very swanky hotel with amazing interiors). Conveniently located nearby to the town and also near the hotel district with it's good selection of restaurants, also near the bus stops for the airport and tours around the island. Nice helpful staff also who helped answer any questions.

Location excellent with bus stop into city centre on road outside hotel. Excellent room with plenty of storage space and air-conditioned. Nice sized fridge with freezer compartment in kitchen. Small sized pool within hotel grounds with access to large pool at large hotel next door. Reception staff all very friendly. Plenty of restaurants opposite hotel as well as a couple of supermarkets (the one down the hill to the side of the Casino Park hotel is the better one to go to price wise) and a 24 hour petrol station opposite.

Great hotel!

Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building between those hours. Also, the locks on the door of the room did not have the “latch type” lock. It was locked by the normal card access lock and a dead bolt, but in a hotel I like having that latch on the door to feel safer. Would recommend and stay again!

The property is hidden , it’s hard to find . No place to park to upload and load your luggage. You have to go for breakfast to the other property so we decide to go to other restaurants. Parking was hustle , I have to go daily to the front desk to pay each day individually . Will be smart if they do that . I been to several Pestana on the island , pestana fishermen village as well . They need some help with common sense regard design hotels .

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders angenehm war die Möglichkeit, den Spa-Bereich und die Pools im Nachbarhotel mitzunutzen. Dort konnten wir wunderbar entspannen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Madeira zu entdecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gemütliche Woche

+ geräumiges Zimmer mit Küche + sauber freundliches personal und 24h besetzte rezeption + ruhig bei zimmer richtung pool - keine reinigungsutensilien für die kücke - klimaanlage war immer kühl, obwohl die temperatur hochgestellt - in der dusche ging nur noch die regendusche, die brause konnte nicht benutzt werden hatte ein pareterre zimmer richtung pool. pool war kaum benutzt, daher hatten wir unseren frieden wenn wir draussen sassen :)

L'emplacement de cet établissement est idéal. Près des restaurants, de magnifiques parcs, 15 minutes de marche du centre-ville et du port. Le système de transport est très fiable.
