"Gorgeous wooden memorable hotel. It has wonderful charm and one of few buildings which has a sea view. We swam a few meters away from steps leading down into the sea water; ate and sipped drinks on the balcony; sat amongst the roses in the garden; read and browsed photographic book oks in the lounge. Breakfast and our host was lively and helpful. This is one of the great island stays of the world and you need to appreciate the creaking floorboards and walk down the hall to a shared bathroom. for free was also great. Maybe this is common in Denmark, but nobody told us we had to bring our own towels down. There are none in there. The cleanliness was not as good as I had wanted. You could tell the room was rush cleaned. Especially the bathroom. But it wasn’t so gross that I asked to switch rooms. Just not sparkling as other hotels we started at during this trip. "
