We were not informed that the pool area would be out of action during our entire stay due to renovations to the pool bar area. We were also led to believe when booking that we would be booking a double room with king bed - only suites have king beds apparently.
Staff from the late arrival till this morning has been the best, helpful and courteous.. room lovely, outdoors breath taking.. first time in the Holy Land and hotel made my stay feel comfortable
The grading must be lowered! Nothing luxurious about it! The staff was friendly but they couldn’t do anything about the limited services. How does a four star hotel not have room service? No glasses. No teaspoons. Ridiculous!
Check in was quick and we were assisted with the luggage and the room is generally clean with all amenities. However, I paid for a room with a king size bed but we were shown to a smaller room with a queen size bed. The person who check us in is the same one who took us to the room after confirming I had booked a room with a king size bed. I raised the issue of the queen bed in the room and he quickly answered this mistake happens often and he took off as quickly as he could. Most disappointing. I should be reimbursed the difference as there was no effort to explain or to allocate us the correct room that we booked and paid for.
It is hard to say given that the hospitality industry has suffered due to the pandemic but I shared with the hotel that it would be helpful if the details of what facilities are available under current conditions, are provided on the site before booking. Customers should not have to arrive and then find out that the experience they were hoping to have will be impossible due to covid. Need to share that info upfront to manage expectations.

Nice place, excellent service from the checkin counter. Bar was a little slow, but the drinks were very good. AC in the room was at maximum, but did not cool enough to be comfortable at night during the summer. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but it is a small city.

It's a bit dearer than most in Gaborone, so one has to compare like with like, but even then it was nice, professional staff, nice room (the window in the bathroom is a bit odd), nice breakfast, and the peacocks and monkeys add a bit of interest ...

This is probably the best hotel in Gaborone and very convenient if you have a conference a the GICC, which is right next door. It is safe, clean, comfortable, and friendly. Also, a good value. The only downside is that it's not close to anything, so you have to take a taxi (which is not very expensive). I do not recommend walking alone or at night, however.

My only complaint was the erratic wifi, but such is life in Botswaan. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

I've stayed here 2x now and at other hotels in Gabarone 2x. I like this place because of the pool and surrounding area and also it feels like the prime meeting spot. Room is comfortable, not luxurious, sort of old fashioned. Staff very nice. The wifi is not at all great.

It is clearly described that the Deluxe room has 60 sm2 and I got what is was in the pics. The duty manager is a fulsome middle aged woman manipulating her hopeless staffs. Do not know the manner to communicate with client properly. They don't deserve a single star in my point of view.
