There were number cards on some of the tables but I did not see at first. I can't imagine why this is even neccessary. I travel for business 3 months a year and have never seen such a system for hotel breakfast. This was a very big empty dining room with many tables and few guests. The pool and pool area was lovely too, but it's on the main road so it's quite loud. The beach is a 2 minute walk away so we just went there mostly instead.
