"The cottage was just a pictured - quaint, well appointed, cozy, and quite. Our hostess was very pleasant, providing us a warm welcome and suggestions for dining and visits.
We wanted to be a bit out of the way as we visited the Isle of Skye and this location/cottage checked all boxes. It was not located in Portree but close enough for groceries, dining, etc. We chose to stay in most nights and the kitchen provided a wonderful array of equipment/dishes to cook meals for ourselves at night and in the mornings.
No 4 put Isle of Skye on our top places to visit - providing the comforts of home while enjoying the splendor of nature the island has.

"Everything was just fantastic. Homely service, pleasant team, wonderful room, and great location. Couldn't have asked for more. Jennie and the team were so welcoming and the restaurant is classics done really well."
"The house was very roomy and comfortable and had all the amenities we could ask for. It had more than enough room for our family of 5 and great views. Would love to have stayed here much longer than 2 nights. "
"We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep. The space was perfect for multigenerational group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We also appreciated that basic supplies that were provided. The location was perfect with just a short drive to many locations on Skye, but away from the business of Portree. We had a wonderful dinner at the Uig Inn and two locations within walking distance for breakfast and lunch. We wished we had planned more time at Tides! "
"really good, quiet location with plenty of parking. our room was spacious and comfortable with wonderful views. breakfast was served to our room each day and we could sit at our table to eat while looking across the loch. bed, shower, and all facilities were perfect"
