"Our stay at the Uig hotel was perfect. The location is beautiful and very well situated to many of the best sights. The rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful from the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was the best. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to the Isle of Skye."

"Skeabost was an excellent choice for us as we explored the Isle of Skye. The hotel is beautiful and historic. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. The shower with tub inside were great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and Sue made our daily meal perfect. We had dinner there one night and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel."

"This is a great, low-budget option that is family-friendly, clean, and quiet. Staff were all super friendly. The hostel is centrally located and across the street from a large, inexpensive car park. Everything in Portree is a short walking distance away. We stayed in a private room for 2 nights. The bathroom and shower are small and the water pressure is suitable for an elephant, which is great, but the shower head would not stay put and the pole it was attached to kept falling off, which we simply laughed about. I assume anyone expecting absolute perfection would look for a much more expensive hotel option. We were quite happy with the hostel and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank-you!"
