"A real oasis in Taranto. The rooms are beautifully decorated and for breakfast you could order eggs or pancakes. The views from the seafront rooms are also lovely and staff very attentive. Hopefully in the future they make more of the roof terrace which feels like a bit of a waste at the moment. The area around the hotel isn't necessarily the nicest, but if you are only staying for a couple of nights and either will eat outside of Taranto or are happy to stay within the parade immediately in...
"Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam).
The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

The restaurant staff were attentive and a delight to interact with! Thanks Marco and Marco again for everything you did for us! "To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Once I arrived, everything was great. There were a couple minor issues...
"Everything was fine at the beginning. TIt's a working residential/commercial area with a large covered market opposite. closed when we arrrived, but I guesss busy and noisy when open. getting in is a hassle for those not used to smart phones, downloading apps swiping, pin codes and so on. Definitely not for digital immigrants. the place is really nicely done out A lot of trouble has gone into it.
