Citybox in Damasplass is an average stay. This particular property is a convenient train ride away from downtown Bergen and all its attractions. However it is not walking distance to any of the tourist attractions. Property condition: While public areas are clean and comfortable, the rooms are less appealing. We stayed in family suite with 4 beds and it was definitely cramped. Breakfast downstairs was $20 pp and felt overpriced for the choices offered so we skipped.

I've been to many many fine hotels. Charmante is #1. It was a "pinch me" experience. And somehow the staff were just as wonderful as the property! Seriously, this place is worth traveling for just to stay at. The room, the 2nd floor coffee lounge (unreal), the 4th floor speakeasy, the restaurant, the art, the decor. Each was a 10/10.

This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for myself, my husband and our grown daughter. Great restaurants, delicious coffee and beautiful parks all within easy walking distance. Proximity to the university gave the neighborhood a fun vibe. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is great and the rooms are spacious and spotless. However the sushi restaurant that allegedly has a Michelin star was disappointing. The service was terrible and the sushi rice was dry. And the selection was small.
