"Overall, I would say this hotel is slightly over priced. However, that being said the value lies with the staff and location. The hotel as a whole is pretty decent. (It was) well decorated and kind of feels special. Although when looking closely, you’ll see a bitt of maintenance is required here and there. Rooms were spacious and included an ironing board and iron (2 lots actually lol) which I always appreciate. The location is second to none. The shops and castle one side and the pier/sea the other. The staff are also top tier. When communicating on e-mail, friendly, considerate and professional. In person, exactly the same with humour to boot! From the young lads to the older ladies I met - all 10/10 (apologies I didn’t get any names for a shout out)."

"There are only 11 parking spaces at the hotel but there is a car park next to the pier so we had no issues. The close proximity to the pier is also great for a little walk with a cafe at the end. The check in was easy and our rooms were very clean and comfortable (although a little warm but it was during the heatwave). The beds were great with plenty of pillows and the rooms had complementary water and drinks."

"Easy and friendly check in. Clean and tidy room. I had a single room and the sink in the bathroom was the size of a shoe box. I am not a breakfast person but I do like coffee. When I asked whether it was possible for me to get morning coffee for my travel mug I was told there was coffee in my room. I had hoped for and was willing to pay for a decent filter coffee as opposed to a sachet of Nescafé. Had burger and fries for evening meal "with salad". Burger was top quality, some fries and a single lettuce leaf for £18. Bit pricey"

"Great location…25 steps to Bangor train station. Friendly warm staff. Authentic Thai food available in their restaurant.Downstairs bar had small groups of friendly easygoing young crowd (not loud or unpleasant) Owner Ms. Su is actively committed to her business and is available to guests for compliments or complaints. Local busses leave within one to 4 blocks for various locations including Snowdonia."

"The two of us stayed at this beautiful vacation home in June. We really liked the cozy and practical furnishings—we had everything we needed. A few pubs and restaurants, as well as the pier in Bangor, are just a few minutes’ walk away. The town is a great starting point for (hiking) trips to Anglesey, Caernarfon or Snowdonia.Communication with Aled and Maresa was straightforward, and we received immediate answers to all our questions. We highly recommend this lovely vacation home to anyone interested.Best RegardsRita & Jens"
