The hotel was great and guest services were awesome. Noted my late arrival due to delayed flight. The hotel is right on Michigan and the bus stops right in front. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. However, I wouldn't recommend eating at ALK. What a rip. for $6, I got about 10 spears of grilled asparagus! I know food prices and labor have gone up but this is ridiculous.

Our stay was mostly excellent. I really appreciated being allowed to check in early since my room was ready to go. The room seemed fairly clean as hotel rooms go, and the amenities (breakfast, pool, fitness center) all good. The only weird thing that happened was a staff member keyed in and turned on the lights at 7:45am waking up me and my friend- they quickly turned them off and walked out- but it was strange and disruptive. No knock, though we heard housekeeping knocking and announcing themselves on other days. Be sure to sleep with your door double bolted.

"One of the best place to stay in downtown Chicago. Most of the destinantions are quite close by to the hotel. The staff is also good and cooperative. My suite room was excellent."
