Gaspoltshofen Hotels

"I booked 1 room in Hotel Sonnenhof on 16th February, via Hotels.com, for a stay commencing on 28th May. Hotel sent me a message on 27th May that I was not in Hotel Sonnenhof in Timelkam, but at an apartment in Lenzing, 4.5km further away. No pre-warning was given, no rationale for the change in location, no option to cancel or reduction in rate was offered. "Schade hat es nur begrenzte Anzahl Parkplätze. Wenn Hotel voll, gibt es zuwenig davon. Ansonsten sehr schönes Hotel mit höflichem Personal. Wir hatten eine Suite die reichlich Platz für die ganze Familie bot. "

"It suited me perfectly. Very Quiet and in a beautiful country area. Breakfast was nice. Loved all the animals Llamas, goats, geese, chickens, kittens and a lovely golden Labrador. This would be paradise for a young family."

"Het hotel was netjes, ontbijt was prima. De bedden waren matig. Wij sliepen met 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen op de kamer. Het bed voor de ouders was prima, de kussens stelde weinig voor. Het bed voor de kinderen was hard en klein. Uiteindelijk heeft onze dochter op de grond geslapen op de dekens. Net zo hard maar dan wel de ruimte. "

"Self-check-in via the machine. No English speaking staff. Great modern super convenient interior. Very clean. No cafes etc., the motel is located between the villages, hence its a quiet area, fresh air. You can get a coffee / snack at the nearest gas station only. "

"Arrived to a sign in reception saying it is not manned and to ring the bell. Someone came after a short wait and booked me in. I paid extra for breakfast and was told my room was upstairs with key in the door. 2 flights of stairs and the room was clean and tidy. More like an apartment than a bedroom with kitchen and dining table. Nothing to allow you to have a hot drink such as milk or tea/coffee even though there is a fridge and kettle. "Beautiful lobby with lots of pleasant seating arrangements. Comfortable and large rooms. Excellent restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Nice massage. 4 minutes to train station. Next to grocery store and pharmacy. Next to beautiful parks and natural trails. I will go back."
