"I will never stay in another room like this because there is no other room or place as magical as this. Walking around Bruges is like being in a fairytale; why not stay in one? "We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my parents. It was perfect! It was within walking distance of the main squares and sights and lots of restaurants and cafes near by too! It's a beautiful hotel, very clean, full of character and the staff were lovely and friendly too! My mum and I used the spa facilities which were very nice, just a shame it doesn't have a jacuzzi or indoor pool. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay, the rooms were very clean and spacious. Would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"The hotel is tucked away from the main town but easily accessible to bus routes and shops/bars. The accommodation is delightful in its age and comfort, with a bar on site and private garden. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and in the quietest local environment to aid restful sleep. The loveliest part of our stay at Ter Brughe was the breakfast, the best I’ve experienced, catering for all appetites. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bruges."

"When we arrived to our garden view room, we found that that side of the building was having major renovations done and there was scaffolding everywhere. Work was being carried out during the day. We immediately asked for another room as this was unacceptable. Neither Expedia nor the hotel or any travel sites had noted that renovations were in progress. The duty staff immediately responded and found us another room which we considered superior to the room we originally booked. Our stay was fabulous. All amenities were top class. The hotel is well located, just outside of the centre of Bruges and its attractions. Everything is easily walkable. So apart from the shaky start, this was overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Martin’s Relais to travelers visiting Bruges."
