View and raccoon- 3 stars otherwise fell short
Family of 11 stayed here for an early Xmas, Dec 18-23. The view and tree limb work/raccoon were very cool along with an indoor pool which is why we had booked it. That being said, the bunk rooms ( I hadn’t realized) had 2 of the mattresses on the floor- no box springs or frame. The top bunk was an actual mattress topper of foam without a mattress and was too big to fit the top anyway so a portion of it was folded. 2 of the beds out of the 5 bedrooms had sheets on them when we arrived but no actual blanket to cover up (some had also been missing pillow sheets). The next morning I called to request additional towels and blankets as there was also only 1 extra blanket for the entire home, and it took almost 11 hours for them to arrive after 3 calls of checking on the work order. The hot tub was also broke and the tech that came to look at it mentioned the jet would not run and it would need to be ordered. I had to place an additional call after these incidences as one of the bedrooms downstairs was leaking from the ceiling and landing on foreheads of people sleeping. 2 of the tvs also did not work. The second to last day the utility people of Gatlinburg came by with a note that they’ve noticed a spike in the water for the last few days (since before our arrival) and believed there was a leak somewhere.
