The Elm Treehouse

Summary:

Elevate your adventure - literally. Experience the slow life in a genuine "Treehouse Masters" 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin. Tucked away in the Smokies near a babbling creek, you’re just 5 minutes from the National Park entrance and 15 mins from Gatlinburg attractions. This year-round escape features natural wood design, heat/AC, a quaint kitchenette, a private deck, firepit, grills, rainfall shower and comfy queen beds. Perfect for those seeking a nature-first getaway without sacrificing comfort.



The Space:

Choose a one-of-a-kind treehouse by Pete Nelson, “Treehouse Master.” Designed with a rustic cabin feel, The Elm Treehouse has a cozy home-like layout: 1 queen bed, full bathroom with rainfall shower, living space, and quaint kitchenette with essentials are on the main floor. Access another cozy queen on the loft via a sturdy wooden ladder; we recommend the main-floor queen for those with mobility concerns. Both the loft and main floor have heating/air-conditioning. Extra linens, towels, and pillows provided.



A small, covered porch and open-air porch included, both private and filled with outdoor seating options. Step from your deck to the banks of Norton Creek, a premier spot for fly fishing on the resort grounds.



Enjoy the seclusion of your private treehouse with the perks of the exclusive resort - shared firepits, swings, picnic tables and grills available to resort guests.

The Neighborhood:

This treehouse is settled in the trees within a gated community, Norton Creek Resort, only 15 minutes off the Parkway and 5 minutes from the entrance of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.



Getting Around:

Taxi services, Uber, Lyft (+ DoorDash, Uber Eats) are available. Downtown Gatlinburg offers trolley service. There is ample public parking available for driving around the area.



Other Things to Note:

- We do not allow RVs, campers or trailers on-site

- Please be aware that due to potential freezing temperatures in January and February, there's a risk of frozen water pipes.

- Please take note that bears are in the area. We do provide bear safety tips upon arrival.

- As Of September 22, 2025, Sevier County Fire adjusted their laws so that we are no longer able to have private firepits on the decks of each treehouse, only community firepits steps away from your treehouse.

- Rental agreement required upon booking

Adorable

Everything was easy-from the booking to the leaving. The only tough part is getting to and and from, but it’s worth it! Property managers are great. Please is super adorable and quaint.
