Nice place, very adequate for our needs. Host is amazing. Clean but could use a deep cleaning. Carpet has staining. That said, i would still recommend this place. Its great! Loved being able to see the bear family too.

We liked the property, it was difficult to get there because of the roads leading up the mountain. But overall the house worked well to facilitate our trip. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and was very responsive. I recommend it of you're in the area.

Gatlinburg getaway

The home was very cozy and met all our needs. It is only about a mile from downtown Gatlinburg. That’s very convenient! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table after a day in Gatlinburg. Our family really loved the location and the house. We will be back!

Great time in Gatlinburg

Our host was very accommodating and communicated well with us. The house was actually slightly updated from the pictures on Vrbo which was a nice surprise. The house was close to down town, just about a mile and a half up the mountain. The house was perfect for what we needed. A place to sleep and recoup after each day of hiking.

Room with a view

Nice property with games and cooking options. Hills were more than I had anticipated. We used to cook breakfast and enjoy the national park hiking trails.

Super vacation

Loved location, cabin host is awesome just needs a better cleaning crew needs updating but still wonderful!!! The cleaning crew will cause people to think twice I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned and dusted I hope cleaning crew will do better this is a wonderful place to stay I will go back!! Bear sitting everyday mama and babies came to cabin be sure to lock doors they will get in

Enjoyable stay. So convenient to both Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. Easy trip to Pigeon Forge using the bypass around Gatlinburg. Bedrooms were spacious. Furniture simple but sufficient. Appreciated the different coffee pots available. Restroom counters on the small side, but not an issue. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of adventures. It was neat to see the Ober Gatlinburg gondola fly past in the distance on occasion. A few finishes could use some freshening, but the home was a great value and great time. Owner communication was quick and easy. Got right in upon arrival.

Wonderful mini vacation

The cabin was cozy and sweet. Short drive to Gatlinburg. Enjoyed the pool table. The beds were extremely comfortable. I could not say enough good things about my stay. Had a really great time!

Great Mountain getaway

Awesome House

Great house for two families. Pool table, hot tub, video game machine, comfortable beds, lots of pots and pans for cooking. The pool facilities are lovely. The upstairs deck is great for bear watching and the drive into Gatlinburg is quick, about 10 minutes down the mountain

Our Gatlinburgh Stay

We stayed here for a mini vacation. It was awesome! The kids loved the hot tub and arcade machine! Beds were comfy. Lots of room. Owners responded very quickly any time we had a question. Close to everything but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Highly recommend!!

Cozy retreat!

Very easy check in, everything was provided as expected. Plenty blankets and towels, kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve meals. Our children loved the pool table and arcade! The beds were comfortable. The spa on the back porch was a wonderful place to recover after a cold day of skiing up at Ober.

Nice place

Great location! The area has a family of bears and we really enjoyed watching them, esp the cubs. House was comfortable and very clean. The pool was a bonus, the grandkids loved it. Not really a cooking kitchen, which was fine as we didn’t cook. There weren’t really enough implements but again no big deal. We will definitely stay there again!

Great family getaway!!

Excellent location to SMNP! Beds are comfy, house was clean. Jacuzzi was good after hiking. My two boys enjoyed pool every night. WiFi worked great for our daughter to take online exam for summer class. When my daughter realized she had left her wallet after check out Walter remotely unlocked the door and she found it! Great communication and fast response from the host!

Best vacation ever

The area was beautiful it snow as soon as I got there I was sitting in the hot tub and it started snowing… It was the most coolest feeling ever to be outside in the hot tub with the snow hitting you in the face. Somehow my back door did not walk on the passenger side and a bear did get in it and destroy my seat so when they say lock your doors, you need to triple check but it did not damper my stay. It was wonderful

Considering the price this place was to be expected. It’s kind of up to date and out of date at the same time. Really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Never saw the pool or information regarding it, but it was a little too chilly to enjoy a pool anyway. The drive up the mountain scared my wife, but it was really close to everything considering. I had to re-wash the dishes because they were dirty and they put away. Also left dirty dishes in the machine from the previous stay. The beds were comfortable and much appreciated but no TV in 1 of the 3 bedrooms. The living room couch bed was one the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I’ve ever sat on. Also not really much seating for a family of five to watch a movie in the living area. Overall for the price not a total write off but a few improvements could’ve commanded more money.

Great location

House is located close to park and town. Beds were comfortable. Shower has good pressure. Two loft bedrooms have been closed off providing better privacy. However, sound still travels to those rooms. Dated wallpaper has been removed, providing a more updated look. Kids had fun with arcade machine (although sound cannot be adjusted or turned off- it was quite loud). We all enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Stairs to house were not so bad.

5 Day Winter Stay

The property was slightly different than the pictures, the carpet has been replaced which was nice, the outdated wallpaper has been painted over so that looked better (from a far). The property was pretty clean with the exception of the pack and play which had dried food all over it (the result of an inconsiderate guest rather than the fault of the cleaning crew I'm sure since it was put away in a closet). The 2 rooms looking into the living room have been paneled off which is a bit more private but provides no sound barrier so it's quite loud in the upstairs bedrooms. One bedroom fan is so off balance it made a noise too loud to have on. Could use some additional seating (just the small couch and a huge dining table). Lightly decorated for Christmas with a tree which was a nice touch. The roads to get here are very narrow with no guardrails but lots of cabins around were that way. Very close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, cool view of the Ober tram from the porch. Despite it being unseasonable, 4 bears came onto the porch one night! A huge one and 3 cubs which was pretty cool. There were a lot of towels provided which was nice, also a washer and dryer.

Great Value but we would have liked better information.

The location is amazing and the property manager is very considerate and responsive. The first thing you should know - especially if you aren’t familiar with mountain driving - is that the driveway is very steep and parking two cars in the driveway is tricky. Because it rained during our time, one of our cars would not make it up the driveway - only our 4 wheel drive vehicle could handle the wet concrete at that grade - I’m glad it wasn’t snowing. We didn’t have enough towels and washcloths for 4 people for 5 days, so it would have been nice to know we needed to bring our own laundry detergent so we could wash the towels. Two members of our party have asthma and something upstairs, we aren’t sure what, bothered their asthma quite a bit. They did better downstairs or with the windows open. Privacy wasn’t an issue because we were with family, but you should know that sections of the walls upstairs are paper-thin (posterboard as far I could tell) so everything could be heard through the house. I know everyone has different standards for cleanliness but some of the dishes still had bits of dried food stuck to them, and the smell and dust upstairs made it feel dirty. For the price, I think it’s a great deal, but having a little more information would have made our stay a lot better.

Clean home, easy check-in, good location and responsive host. I recommend the property to families, we enjoyed the pool table and gamin console, was warned about bears and got to see a few curious guys. Were had a great stay!
