"While quite run down as others have mentioned, it was still a good value for the $. While they do have AC there is a governor on it and it does not go lower than 25. In the hot summer days this is not that cool. The pool was great, though the slide does not have water running down it so it's not functional. "BEST HOTEL BREAKFAST EVER! We are frequent travelers so that we are fussy about breakfast options. AMAZING and TASTY! Offerings we would not even have imagined including homemade cookies, both sweet and savory dishes, including numerous Cretan specialties as well as every part of both an English and a German breakfast. AND the staff were ALL extremely friendly and helpful. The sea views overlooking the port from our room as well as the rooftop restaurant/bar are breathtaking. We have already recommended this hotel to various travelers we met along the way."
