"It was shocking to arrive to the front portion of the property with donut vendors, Wallace & Gromit shows and various selfie stations. The hotel in behind this was lovely. We opted to hike the area continuing along the Coastal path to Sennen. "
"stair carpets and carpet in room very dirty, table in dining room dirty oily sticky . one layed with crumbs still on windows so dirty at sides could see out, uneaxpectedlu had to pay for parking. room 3 despite being about 16 with a cool change outside was very very hot we kept fan on and still couldnt have any bedding - wont stay again "
"Staff were really nice!
The window in our room was too high, can’t really see what’s outside. The room felt very small because of how the windows were positioned. "
"Great for an overnight stay. No free parking need to park at nearby car park. Breakfast (full english) is excellent. The room is basic. Good location (5min walk) if you need to catch a ferry to isle of scilly. Within walking distance to town centre."

Sancreed House B&B
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at Sancreed House recently. The Georgian house is very tastefully decorated throughout and is immaculate. Pablo and Grove made us feel so welcome and were so helpful. The bedroom is very spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. They prepared a fabulous breakfast which consisted of homemade bread, yogurt, pastries, croissants and even home made vegetarian sausages. The property and gardens are stunning and is conveniently positioned for visits anywhere in Penzance, Newlyn and surrounding areas. The heated indoor pool was a wonderful bonus. "
Peaceful coastal property with large garden. Unbeatable views of sea and moors.
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely property, really comfortable and with great facilities. It’s in a brilliant location, with gorgeous views and Pauline couldn’t do more as the host. We would definitely come back and stay here again. "
Cosy Central St Just Apartment with Wood burner fireplace. Close to great walks.
10/10 Excellent
"The accommodation was exactly what we wanted. Owners provided a ‘starter pack’ milk, tea, coffee. Nice touches. Owner was attentive, without being intrusive. Just right.Ideal location. A short walk from the middle of St Just, with pubs, hot food vendors and shops. Free parking near by. Short drive to beaches, and Cornwalls rugged coastline. What more could we ask for!"
Top Cot Cottage: comfortable, friendly, perfect in St Just!
8/10 Good
"This is a small miner's cottage (probably) suitable for a couple and 2 kids -- decent double bedroom with adequate storage and smallish bedroom with two small singles at right angles. There's a sitting room downstairs with a couple of recliners, a sofa, TV, and a wood-stove (didn't need/use it); a small dining room, plus a kitchen with electric hob, electric kettle, sink (frig and microwave in side ante-room); and a bathroom with bath with electric-shower over, basin and toilet, and washing machine (didn't need/use).
The plumbing is a bit primitive but everything works and the shower quite adequate, 3 electric radiators with thermostats keep the place warm and cosy, and the TV provides entertainment on rainy days.
There's a small garden at the West-facing rear, with a chair or two and a washing line.
I was given direct phone contact with the housekeeper (didn't need/use but very reassuring) and with the owner who was very helpful, and was keen to receive my feedback on a few minor quibbles that will probably be fixed on a next visit. Parking is outside front in terrace on a first-come, first-served basis, with overflow in the small Lafrowda car park at end of street (I always managed to find a spot). All in all a very functional, convenient, comfortable enough base for Coast Path walking and quick access to St Just shops/pubs and excellent cafes
