Staff were helpful, friendly yet professional. Welcoming atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. Over two stays of three days each took the time to enquire about our activities and seemed to express genuine interest
The hotel was comfortable and located in a nice area of Genoa. It is close to the train station which we used to return to Florence. We had a very nice stay at this hotel.
Lovely clean classic hotel with access to sister hotel next door (Savoia - this is a lovely grand hotel with a great lobby and bar). Close to station so easy to visit all the lovely coastal towns of rappallo, camogli, portofino. Breakfast was not included in our room rate but there was a lovely cafe directly opposite. Great stay would book again.
We booked a last minute night to Genoa and needed it by the train station. This location was perfect, close to train station and to everything we wanted to see in Genoa. Enjoyed the breakfast, the bar area was wonferful for a night cap. The area is quiet busy and noisy but for a night it wasnt a problem for us.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Continental. The reception staff on our arrival and departure were fantastic and helpful, housekeeping was a bit of a hit and miss.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and also it was very close to the strain station which was very convenient.

Convenient to Principe train station. Very cool bar and lounge area accessed by first floor corridor to next hotel.
If you need handrails in bathtub, go elsewhere. Bathtub is very tall and may be hard to get into. No slip-prevention mat inside the tub.
Close to train station. Did not feel comfortable roaming around after dark but during the day it was fine.

The hotel is old and full of character.
Lovely staff , in particular a young lady called M....
( sorry for not remembering your name) .
However, our room overlooked an engine / heating area which was noisy day and night. Personally, I would skip Genoa completely and head for the beautiful Santa Margherita and Portofino.
Thought staff was friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and aesthetically pleasing with a great location. Had an excellent dinner last night and also enjoyed all the breakfast choices.
Quiet room and good place to rest. The hotel lift is historical and appreciation of keeping it good condition. Prosecco was a bonus around evening time at reception. Good location next to train station.
