"Short trip to see Mt Vernon. Hotel was one of the close drive to property. Staff was nice and recommended a place for dinner. Property was quiet. Breakfast was good. Our AC unit didn’t cool, but we were wore out and finally got to sleep. Would stay again. "

"Absolutely loved this place!!! We were at a wedding but we had to drive back into Washington and we were exhausted. Pulling up to the property was pretty special. There was a large colorful Ferris Wheel and beautiful waterfront area. Plenty of restaurants and bars to chill in. There was even a Marilyn Monroe statue that looked cool. The hotel was really nice. Loved the card access elevators. If your room is on the busy /plaza entrance, there may be some traffic noise. Also… huge note.. there is no onsite parking. You have to park at one of the parking decks and then walk back. Not cool but… I guess you sacrifice convenience for the waterfront views. The night clerk at the front was excellent. Highly knowledgeable about the area and full of tips for the next time we come back to Washington. I was in line while he handled some unruly patrons and a late entry that didn’t have a room.. the hotel was fully booked. He handled everything in expert fashion and had the lobby area clear and patrons happy minutes. My family wished we’d had more time to stay at the hotel but it was a quick day trip. 5 stars all the way around. "

"Basic, clean hotel but the facilities are just okay. The positives: comfortable bed, decent breakfast, friendly staff and well-functioning bathroom (although the bathroom looked a bit run-down). Negatives: The elevator couldn't be called to the 4th floor so you needed to call the front desk or go down stairs. The refrigerator in the room wasn't usable because it wouldn't shut. There was kind of a musky smell when I first entered the room. "

"I’m sorry to leave a bad review, but it’s only so other people don’t stay there. It’s beyond dirty and I felt disgusting being in there. Receptionist was ok but the cleaning staff and condition of the hotel is not ok."
