I had the pleasure of staying for 3 weeks at the cottage. its well equipped with anything you might need for a relaxing holiday. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, fireplace, salon and a real working kitchen with most everything you need. close enough to the pub and food shop but far enough away to feel isolated. It a real Irish home with out the bells and whistles you might get at a more modern/commercial property....

"Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!"

"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

"What a lovely place to stay! We were a group of 7 girls here for a long weekend in February and we absolutely loved it. The cottage was a perfect base for Bere Island and a night out at mccarthy's. The terrace was stunning with sun flowing in to the living room all day! We ate in a lot too as the kitchen was really well stocked with equipment and spices. Thanks Rercy :)"
