Best hotel I've stayed in recently and have visited many in bucks over the last few weeks. Room beautifully decorated, facilities in the room were great. And a note with a couple chocolates on the bed on arrival, nice touch.

Building warm & inviting. Staff friendly & helpful. Sadly was allocated ground floor room facing the car park/ unloading area & right on corridor noisy fire doors. Persistent problems with WIFI, despite seeking help from staff, several times.

I stay at hotels for work purposes at least 50% of the year. I can honestly say that the breakfast i had here was by far the best breakfast I've had in 2023. The bacon was prooerly char grilled on a griddle. Cant wait to come back.

Beautiful after refurbishment
The newly refurbished Ethorpe Hotel has been redone beautifully, while maintaining the very high standard of service by their employees. Happy to see this improvement as I stay at the Ethorpe frequently.

This hotel suits our purposes perfectly. It has been refurbished and is close to shopping and close to Heathrow also. Parking is easy and the staff is very friendly. We will be back!

Staff can't do enough for you, so helpful and cheerful. Very feel good place to stay. Comfortable and feels safe even when travelling alone. Good dining choices even for breakfast. A happy place. I would certainly stay there again. Thank you Ethorpe Hotel for a lovely week 😊 Very convenient for everything you could wish to do. Great for convenience near train station. Town is very nice. Bar and restaurant areas were ok. Our bedroom needed a complete overhaul. Damp walls with wallpaper hanging off. Shower spraying from faulty nozzle. Just didn’t feel as if maintenance had been done.

Great Location
The staff at the hotel were very welcoming friendly and hospitable, offering great advice about local attractions. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good value, excellently cooked and plenty of choice. The hotel itself could do some with some updating. Rooms were clean and tidy and very spacious. The bathroom was clean but needed modernising. The restaurant area and breakfast room were very nice but the bar area had ripped seating that had been taped to repair. The outside of the building could do with a paint. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay. Ideally located for Legoland and Warner Studios (20min drive) also London (25min train) a lovely small village with essential amenities. Definitely a good base for families.

Property is old but well maintained. No elevator so had to take our own luggage to the room while check in and at check out. Spotted big spiders every day in the bathroom and hotel room.
