"Like going back in time. Classical European hotel. Had a gorgeous spacious suite. Bathroom fixtures were a bit dated and the shower/tub was unusually high and difficult to get in and out of. But location was fantastic. 2 minute walk to take the funicular up to Harder Kulm. 3 minute walk to Interlaken Ost train station. Plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. If you are looking for a hotel in the central Interlaken area this is a very nice option."

We loved it so much we ended up extending our stay. I am a tad hard to please and very critical, I almost never come back to the same hotel twice, but I think this one might be an exception. The location is perfect, close to town and all the places we wanted to visit, this is a perfect base for day trips."
